I have a structure which has a portal in it so I want it to align with another structure in that dimension.
I tried giving both structures the same placement settings, but this only aligned up the corners so rotation made the portal block not align
Would it be a good idea to use jigsaws to generate a structure around the portal/portal room? if so I would appreciate it if you could link me to a good tutorial on jigsaw structures.

it seems the misalignment wasn't just due to rotation as now that i'm testing with a smaller structure it is clearly a few chunks off
any idea how i can make sure that 2 structures generate in the same position in a different dimension?

what if you take structure A's coordinates, and generate structure B within the other dimension using the same xyz cords as A
