I think it would be really cool if when I made or bought a diamond pickaxe, for example, It would write my username and the date and time on it.

theres a mod that allows renaming already existing items, would it be possible to check if a tool has a lore tag and then add one if it doesnt? Maybe to avoid the constant checking, apply it upon creation

Maybe this could be shifted into newly anvilled items? The intention is to find tools or special items that are old, and who made them etc
Applying this to the anvil would make it far easier to tell when it happens and stop any obnoxious repeating code or checks
