I'm grumpy that tinted panes that light through vertically but not horizontally (depending on the pane shape) aren't a thing yet.

sorry, I was sleep-deprived when I wrote this. Basically, it would act like if you took the model for each "shape" of glass pane (depending on what sides are connecting to blocks), and scaled it up, and made that out of tinted glass blocks.
