insaneposting/ignore/hate that I know this but felt compelled to share; legit source of debate in astro community is when your natal chart ‘begins’ (when you exit the birth canal? when you draw your first breath? etc). - because in theory could affect perceived placement of the faster-transiting planets like mercury, lol. it is even a thing to ‘rectify’ or reverse-engineer one’s natal chart if you don’t know your exact birth time…

I’m not perfectly sure bc I only know about astrology on a very superficial level, but I think an astrologer will look at events jn someone’s life & compare them to the ‘expected’ ones based on a particular birth time
The birth time has the biggest effect on the ‘ascendant’ in the chart & a more accurate timing for this can supposedly predict the timings of events in one’s life more accurately
and all that but you can Google ‘natal chart rectification’ for more Controversy on this

the exactitudes of when are a bit debated as mentioned but I think when the umbilical cord is cut is a common one

I just wonder if that influences it- like say I was due in Scorpio season, but I ended up being born idk in Leo season (I don’t know my signs) is it likely that I would have more Scorpio traits?

bit complicated depending on worldview but think the answer is probably ‘no’ because astrology is fairly deterministic (hence ability to ‘predict’ based on traits)
so someone being ‘due’ at a certain time doesn’t matter because they were ‘supposed’ to be born whenever they actually were…does that make sense…
