Description:
After adding the new update to Craftable Zone, I had some people who were interested in just the PDA Radio as a standalone mod, so here it is. This mod simply adds a radio inside your PDA, much like in Anomaly. When you open your PDA you will find a small button on the top left, with a radio icon. Click on it, and it will open a small window on top of your PDA, where you can browse the channels and the different frequencies. All channels from all factions are available. This means that the radio will play any of the radios that are already available in the game, I just made them into frequencies with the songs they play specifically at those locations. So you will find different songs in the different radios, and you can also switch the currently playing song.

There is a play button, frequency switch, channel pick, and a stop button.

FAQ:
How do I open the radio?
Open your PDA, there will be a new button in a white-yellow colour to the top left, right next to where it says "Map".

I found a bug, how do I report it?
Bug report section/discussion or in a comment!

Can I add new music into the radio?
Not at the moment. In the future yes. Right now the Zone Kit does not include the Wwise project, so while editing sound is possible to a certain degree outside of Zone Kit, adding new music isn't possible.

Hi all. Wanted to give an update on whats going with my mods and the plans for the future on them all. I'll start honestly absolutely direct: I've locked all the comments in all platforms that is possible, I've also locked my DMs in also all platforms. For the past two months (specially the last), I've gotten all sorts of insults and demands both in comments and in private messages in so many platforms, not to talk about the inability of so many users to simply read descriptions or previous comments, which has brought me to make the decision to simply lock everything.

This is honestly for the best. For a month I have not worked on any of my mods actively developing new bits of it or even thinking about trying to do anything, simply because it feels like no matter what is made, people will complain and insult, it is extremely draining. I've been avoiding reading much in my threads because of this all. Mods are done primarily because the mod developer wants that mod to be a thing for -themselves-, mods are not done fitting to users, if they were, it would be an unpaid job. Nobody pays modders for making mods, we do them out of passion. I am not working for free for other people.

The discord threads of my mods will remain open, since here it feels like people are at least more polite and way less entitled. I did these mods because I wanted them, not for anybody else. If you have feedback you want to give, then be polite about it. Telling me "the craft of this doesn't make sense, it isn't realistic, irl it would be bla bla" is useless to me when we play in a game in which we drink vodka to remove radiation poisoning. Suggest things, don't say "your mod should"/"add this". Report bugs in a polite manner, don't ask "when will this work"- the amount of reports, where so many were incredibly unpolite ones, I got for crafting mod not working on Xbox when 1.6 released was insane and unnecessary.

I've been on a modding break for nearly a month now from STALKER 2. It is my favourite game, and I hate to see its community turning into whatever this is. I will keep updating my mods, adding new things and uploading new ones, perhaps in the future I unlock every comment and DMs again, unsure about that yet. However, I make this for myself first of all, I just choose to share it.

Craftable Zone will keep growing, as will Lootable Zone alongside it, loot rate will be decreased, small bugs will be fixed, armor repair will come with making use of the armor parts. PDA Radio and Gas Mask Overlays will develop along their parent mods. Base Building and Temperature System will eventually release, when its ready. Radiation Overhaul will also release when its ready. But these last two will likely just start with disabled comments too. Just a reminder: we all do this for free, in a game that's not even a year old, with an SDK that is still in beta.

I want to end this update with showing appreciation to those who've always remained positive, helpful, understanding and just nice, because these are the people that me as a modder actually value and honestly- what make me want to keep sharing my mods with the community. If not for them, most of what I do straight up wouldn't be public. So thank you, for being polite to modders, for being nice and appreciating what we do even if it has its own issues that we try to tackle.

Hi, is there any plan to update this mod for the current patch 1.8. The last update was 5 months ago and this mod is not working now. It would be great to listen to the radio in PDA again.
