In retaliation to the Zone's appearance, the military put together a large force sent directly to the center of the Zone. Their objective was to blow up the Zone with the use of nuclear explosives. Without any protective gear, detectors or information about the Zone, many of the ground troops were killed off by anomalies before they even managed to reach the center of the Zone. As soon as they managed to reach close to the Chernobyl NPP, an Emission was immediately triggered. The operation was a massive failure, with many thousands of soldiers and vehicles being blown away by the sheer power of the Emission. Scattered by the Emission and having to deal with anomalies and mutants , the survivors of the operation had a slim chance of survival.

At 14:33 the experiment got out of control - there was a breakthrough of Noosphere into our world. The zone of alienation was illuminated by unbearably bright light, silence was established for a few moments, and one could see the clouds evaporating in the sky. Then, a terrible rumble came, the earth trembled. The energy of the noosphere poured almost freely on the Earth, changing the physical laws. Within a day, Ukrainian government troops completely cordoned off the Zone along the perimeter, but there were still many people inside. Rescue operations were not possible because of the high anomalous activity. After a short time, the zone grew by several kilometers, absorbing military units. Later, such phenomena will be called Emissions. Noosphere energy will spill over and over again on the ground changing the location of anomalies and creating "fresh" artifacts - anomalies with certain properties, which later received a high price.

If you inhale one speck of dust, you'll dead at the evening already. So the 10km long Zone mustn't be touched, and the 30km long Zone better shouldn't be touched, because it's full of animals, that live and breed there, even Przewalski's horses live wild life.

There's an idea to make the nature reserve public.

Shulga entered the Zone as soon as it appeared with Lenya. Not soon after, something happened and they both ended up wounded. They crawled for hours until they met a Duty squad who helped them. Lenya died from his wounds, but Shulga survived

A former "Black Beret", served in the Belotserkovskaya Spetsnaz brigade. Served multiple tours, became a master sergeant. A sniper and a bomb technician. A loner at heart, never ventures into the Zone in a group, preferring to act alone. He was offered to join the clans numerous times, but always refused.

There's also a quest about him, which Sidorovich has this to say about him:

"The Fiend, aka Oleg Gusarov, used to serve in Spetsnaz. As long as he minded his own business, I had nothing against him, a Loner is a Loner. But I hear he's mustering a gang to crush down the Cordon and take control over smuggling operations from the Zone. Now this is a major problem and it has to be solved quick. So will you do it?"

Stronglove, which never appeared in the Stalker
Who is Stronglove?
It's a special mutant and unique bloodsucker from the first book of Vasily Orekhov named "Зона поражения". This one and other three books: "Дом на болоте" by Alexey Kalugin, "Дезертир" by Alexey Stepanov, and "Shadow of Chernobyl" storybook were the first books, which started the book series back in the 2007.
The plot of the "Зона поражение" tells about experienced stalker Hemul, which was hired to organize a safari in the Zone for thrill seekers rich people. In the "Stalker" bar expedition was intercepted by "Dark Stalkers" to be destroyed lately. The order was made by the Zone's owners, but Hemul didn't agree with that, so he forced Mite (leader of the faction) to give him the rights to complete the "Big Trial" - a special ritual, that takes place in the depth of the abadoned "Rostok" factory, where Stronglove lives.
Stronglove is a lot different from other bloodsuckers. He's not only strong, but also smart. Firstly, he makes himself fresh meat stocks: he wounds his victims until they can't leave the lair, but still let them alive.
Secondly, Stronglove changes the interier of the factory to have fun with victims: uses metalic garbage to build an actual maze.
During the fight with Hemul, Stronglove falls of the building, letting Hemul some time to run away.
Author of the book mentions, that "Stronglove" name doesn't have any connection with strong love

Orekhov was inspired by the map_05U_Rostok document, that describes the meeting with strong bloodsucker and script sequence for the mutant. In the Общая идея сюжета (the Main Plot Idea) "Rostok" factory mentioned as plot continue place, where the player has to kill the bloodsucker. In the Сюжет_коротко file the same moment mentioned again + dream about the Monolith. Interesting, that developers abadoned the idea of making this unique quest in July-August of the 2004.
How could it look like in the game?
The Marked One gets into the factory to kill a bloodsucker, that murdered many stalkers. As soon as stalker steps on the complex territory, he sees falling body from the building. The Marked One hears sounds of the barrels, pipes and other metalic junk nearby. The Marked one goes to the moaning stalker, that was used as bait by a bloodsucker. Then entry and exist get blocked by the junk, so the player has to go into a workshop - here you firstly meet him face to face. After losing 25% of his health he runs away. The Marked One finds the unfinished construction, where a bloodsucker pushes him into a pit. When the Marked One gets out, he later fights him again and kills him.
You could already see this quest in the OLR mod.

The truth is close
Stronglove from the "Зоны поражения" and a bloodsucker from the desdocks isn't the same mutant. "Special bloodsucker", that was mentioned by the developers, became the prototype for Stronglove from the book. Sound obvious, books aren't canon for the game nor builds, but some group of people still thinks that "Stronglove" was cut like other cool features...
If you think that there isn't enough information, check this out. Two months after the first book's plot the plot of "Линия огня" starts. If you read it carefully, you can find out, that "Линия огня" happens in the 2026. 1986 + 40 = 2026. 14 years after the ShoC.

I think that's work pretty well.
Freeze a small zone with an exoskeleton-wearing enemy, unload the entire magazine, when time returns to normal, all rounds hit him at once.
