You can really only use it to pass through someone's territory, or maybe get to a place you want to fight at.
If you get close enough to talk to a trader or anyone, they will spot you and expose you.
Maybe with high quality gear you might be able to talk/trade, but I'm not sure.

I would like Zone being divided into areas full of people and then into areas, which are unexplored and there is nobody, only mutants. Sort of like SOC does it with Yantar.
And with the areas controlled by factions, there could be faction wars.

And it would even make sense of progress - player would start at the "safer" part of the zone, where are human factions, either in peace or fighting against each other. And then later more dangerous areas where nobody came before player. Also same with underground dungeons.
Though aside of faction war, one thing which needs to be fixed in Stalker 2 - if devs would place some stalker area next to Military base, like it´s with Rookie village in Stalker SOC, that stalkers won´t go suddenly 🥥 and full on the SPECNATZ.
