SS2's coop was far from perfect, it was buggy and such. But the ability to play with someone else, I was the science research nerd and he was the gunner. We had a blast in ss2, and i shat my pants so many times from the zombies and alerts going off

The good thing about stalker that would make implementing coop in easy, is the fact that it's already very difficult. Many other co-op games, especialy rpgs, have to fiddle around with difficulty and such which can ruin the game or change it to the degree that singeplayer mode gets affected ex dead space 3

As in classic FPS while in single player death is permanent and it either restarts level or forces you to load a save, in multiplayer you just respawn.

I don´t like Fallout 1 and 2 gameplay much. It´s nice how many things they have, but combat is so bad. Non-combat character being forced into it by random encounters and suddenly enemy does above 100 HP critical hit. So it´s more about luck, like Russian roulette.

While Stalker´s gameplay is about gameplay and player´s skills.

Though there is luck factor too (weapon jamming or breaking mid combat).
