If I had the choice of which is best, it’s either the Vepr or Saiga-12 due to good rate of fire, good range for a shotgun, and instead of self reload it’s magazine fed.

If I survived for a few weeks, then I think I would have 3 possibilities

I'd try to become a guard for the Ecologists, being an Ecologist means you will have most allies, so you won't have to risk your ass in fights.

I'd try to help the ones in Jupiter, fighting zombies daily isn't exactly the best idea if you want to survive.

I would try and get some mutant samples for the Ecologists and try make a living out of them

#

I'd hear about the Wish Granter and be naive enough to try and pass the Barrier. I would very likely become a Zombified Stalker or a Monolithian

#

I'd hear that the Monolith have all they want and have their negative emotions sucked out. I would probably try to become one by going as close to the Brain Scorcher as possible

Though I might end up as a Zombified Stalker

Nah, that is easy if you know what to do. It's harder overall for damage and regeneration system, that's the only thing. Since i would say CS is 10% harder than SoC, nothing crazy

Generally CS is considered harder because of Faction war system, which leads to constant changes (also bad implementation), jumps in difficulty (swamps, beginning at cordon, getting trough garbage, limansk) and I'd say also stability

in ShoC there is no artifacts increasing weight. you can use exo or edit game files. i agree with Crimson, carry less stuff, you'll limit ammo by using single fire, handguns aren't really needed etc
