Basically, it looks like your computer either doesn't have the correct stuff to run DirectX.
Is this just vanilla?
I would suggest trying to delete user.ltx and then try running the game. If not, you might be missing drivers or required software to run DirectX

I reinstalled the game without the mod and worked fine. My laptop can handle DirectX. SHoC and Anomaly run perfectly

Loners = they can only capture the second point at the garbage, after that they turn into target practice to bandits because they don't move or shoot.

Bandits = everyone hates you and the bandits are still considered the weakest faction even if you capture all points, oh and their quests are the most glitched ones in the whole game.

Freedom = you need to defeat the whole duty alone because freedomers thinks it's a good idea to use snipers in point black range.

Duty = they are so overpowered that they capture points before you can even reach them.

The only faction that is balanced and that works flawless is the clear sky.

Sure

In SoC, their ranged attack doesn't know you around. It just lowers your weapon and does some damage. It's psy-field also doesn't do any damage. In CS, pretty much the same. However, when you're attacked in CoP, you'll get kocked around, you'll have your weapon lowered and you have the chance to be disorientated. Plus the fact that their psy-field can actually be quite lethal
