I do have to say that vanilla SoC has that unique atmosphere that just keeps me returning to it every now and then

CS has it's own flavour also but it's much...weaker? Like I don't feel like playing it as much.

and CoP just feels ridiculously bland to me idk why, but aside from a few locations I find it repulsive rather than attractive

I replayed CS recently, to have a more...concious experience of it

#

because it's the one I've played the most but also quite a long time ago when I was much younger

#

and not as experienced as a gamer since I didn't have a good rig to play different games on

#

and while I have to say that it's still plenty fun gameplay wise and the various ways you can progress through it's sideplots and how it's interwined with the faction wars is really fun I also noticed it's biggest flaws more

#

like for example the biggest one is probably that most NPC on NPC fights are containted within the faction wars mechanics and rely heavily on smart terrains

#

so when something unexpected happens like bandits actually entering the Agroprom loner base the mask falls off and you begin to see that the AI is heavily...constrained

#

for example the loners won't shoot the bandits unless it's an "offical" attack

CoP was already really empty. The longer you play it, the more empty it gets. When you go to Pripyat, the whole Zone gets populated and all kinds of mutants start to spawn, as well

I had a really weird glitch in call of Pripyat when I got to Pripyat and traveled back to yanov train station snorks would spawn inside the station then run out I even saw Pseudogiant spawn inside also when traveling from Zaton to yanov stalkers like Spartacus and bandits would move with me towards yanov and they ended up staying in the train station for the rest of the game

Like, Renegades are actually hostile 24/7, but Bandits are different. They should pretty much be a potential threat to you, trying to steal from you. As such, you could either pay their "taxes" or take the first shot to fight them

I completely edited my files, so if someone is hostile you don't lose reputation, as for goodwill I think you only lose that if your not hostile
