this Radar section is so annoying.
i feel like this is one of the best parts of the game, fighting hundreds of rock lovers to turn off a Brain Scorcher. It might be hard but it's quite fun and you'll feel great when you finish this. Looking back i'd say i enjoyed Radar even more than Pripyat

Idk something about storming Pripyat for the first time with all the other stalkers was an unforgettable moment for me. That and trekking through Pripyat underground with my crew in CoP.

To me Radar was more difficult than Pripyat, it's just tense, not overly hard. CNPP exterior was stupid hard but also short. The interior is very crowded with Monolith, but just take it slow and one room at a time, you'll do fine.

yeah but honestly i quit. i had two NPCs spawned behind me. so i was in a constant loop of dying. the radiation was a problem. like if i can die from radiation, then the monolith could definitely die too.

ya know, playing stalker games made me crazy about making tons of separate saves during the game. I can't stop doing it in any other game and recently found out that I have 300+ savefiles for M&B 2 and due to the size of such file (50mb each) I had 15 Gb of savefiles on my PC. So I removed earlier saves (but then it appears that I need them cause one of quests got broken, sad). Btw quicksaving the game in different save slots is a useful feature they have in some stalker mods, wish it would be a standard for other games

yep, playing stalker I make at least one separate save every 3-5 minutes. I know that's slightly not ok probably, but what can I do? You never know when something gonna go wrong and you'll need to come 1h back in your playthrough (or the problem just is that you r dying every 30 seconds cause u r playing Misery where it's normal)

Some sniper weapon doesn't really turn Misery into absolute ez mode. You still have one hit killing mutants, anomalies and radiation. Also lab has stronk poltergeists damaging you really bad and constantly all the time you stay there. I remember that even if you find them all and kill you still take damage for some reason (smth is bugged there apparently). But all this makes the game more challenging and you do feel satisfied making all the way through. But of course it's a catastrophe to try this mod as first stalker games experience

your right, it doesn't make it ez mod, not for everyone. But in general, getting a scoped weapon puts you at an incredible advantage

and once you have that incredible advantage, it's almost entirely unacceptable for you to get screwed over.

the locations that are good, and the locations that are bad for loot / money etc. should be fairly self evident. getting to an exo turns you into a monster

at that point it's all up to skill with not allowing yourself to get hit by chimeras, or putting yourself in a bad situation near psy dmg, without ofc bringing weed or meds etc.

I use emergency repair kits (looks like duct tape) for armor, and gun oils and sprays for weapons
if your weapon gets really damaged, carrying an universal cleaning kit is very useful too, it doesn't weight much and can clean down to 65%
