Completely forgetting about creator's personality and his actions, Remastered improve nothing and are done with very small effort.
Lost Alpha is LITERALLY a different game, taking build conceptions and making them a standalone game, however, if you want play something build-like, Oblivion Lost Remake is better option.
Also playing vanilla is the best way to start your adventure with stalker series because it gives you introduction to basic mechanics and to the world.
