For me Lost Alpha explained some things better than SoC but it made some other things unexplainable. It's the most immersive Stalker mod i've ever played but even the DC version still has many bugs. If you can forgive the bugs and the 3rd person cutscenes with bad animations and if you like a darker more paranormal version of SoC story you can give it a shot.

its unfinished and adds mechanics not in the vanilla game

use stcop 3.2 for a more normal experience

okay so, I have never played any of the stalker games before today

i have the call of Chernobyl mod, and I started up a a game, i think it was random

and i was in an apartment next to some big vine thingy

i started looking around, and found two ways out of the area, one way goes to this underground tunnel that has zombies and rat things in it, and the other goes to Pripyat, i think.

i think you need some sort of item to go into pripyat, it said there was some psychic danger or something

so i went into the jupiter tunnel, and i managed to make it to a part with a bunch of trucks and an anomaly.

I can't seem to get around the anomaly easily, is there a way around it?
