faction wars boil down to either babysitting a squad only for them to die, or running around the map killing every enemy squad by yourself and just waiting in the enemy base until a friendly squad came and capped it

i would like to play a mod in which you start out a Rookie and have to work hard on your way to the center of the Zone.
But things have to be very limited, money should be hard to earn, and not having the right equipment should be a nuisance, you can survive with out it, but it becomes a burden.
and there shouldn't be a perfect weapon or suit. and also make it so some areas aren't safe enough to stay, you'll have to come back to other areas in order to be relaxed, and do some managements.
