First of all, there's still an option to play military at least in ru-rp, you just have to tell GMs about your intentions first. No one would allow you to play as high ranking officer ofc, due to obvious power gaming issues, but there's no prohibition to rp as common soldier. But you have to bear in mind, that playing as a soldier is definitely not as fascinating as it might seem. You're in the service after all, so you can't enjoy as much freedom as other factions do. And besides, all factions are enemies to you, so you can't wander the Zone freely like most of others do. So, it's really a very specific rp which will be not that fascinating for everyone.
I actually, believe in opposite thing. There should be less factions in RP, so people would not become spread to thin which is exactly the case of ru-rp community now. Some factions shall be either unplayable like Monolith, or removed like Renegades. In the end, I would leave only Loners, Bandits, Duty and Freedom and maybe, just maybe Mercs. But you have to consider that I have quite... unconventional opinions on how our RP should evolve, so many would likely disagree with me.

bench, there is a unique gun called the "Sniper TRS-301", very reliable and great with
AP, though the rate of fire is significantly reduced and meant for single shot.||

Mama's Beads is a dummy artifact that can only be found in the following ways:
- One of these artifacts can be found in the construction site north of the entrance to Lab X-18 in the Dark Valley (climb the mangeled remains of the construction tower and jump into the large metal trough), alongside a Spring artifact, a Guitar, and a Hand radio.
- Snitch will reward the player with one of these artifacts after completing his mission Kill master stalker.
