I played Clear Sky first, when it launched - while I had to read some background lore to clear up confusion, I like how it built up to events in SoC, but generally it is best to play SoC first

On the the most annoying tactics by enemies were they threw grenades first before firing a single bullet, so when you run from cover(that’s if you hear or see or just have perfect reflex to dodge) they’ll light you up.
