Anyways anomaly is pretty straightforward to download - main beta files, latest update and latest hotfix.. Then you put the main files somewhere, put the update files over the main files and finally the hotfix files over the main files that had the update files put over them.

ah, you already took care of it, anyways as for rp stuff, I recommend asking @pseudo rivet , as they can really help you with the breakdown of how the rp works. There are currently 2 rp's with different sets of rules. one for English and one for the RU community.

To see the roleplay channels in the server, you have to pick a faction under #👥┃faction-choice
Once you've picked a faction, it will open up channels you can't normally see, including Rp-Reg, Rp-Rules, faction wars rules, etc. which will all help you to understand how everything works (quick edit, rp-reg is where you put your backstory I believe)

You also gain the ability to see your factions specific chat, that only members of your faction can see.

#

There is also a Roleplay bot which tracks items you have, gear, weapons, items, money/rubles etc. With it's own dedicated command channel.

If you ever decide you want to change factions or feel like you chose the wrong one, feel free to ask one of the moderators to change your role, as once you've chosen you can't swap factions without our help. :). let me know if you have any other questions!

My times of walking around the whole base just to get the perfect jump on the enemy was all wasted when they through 3 grenades at once at me.
I haven’t played CS that often because of the faction bug, but dodging grenades seems so much more difficult than dodging bullets.
And on top of that, 3/5 throw grenades at me, causing me to run out of cover and get lit up, it’s so frustrating....

You have little reaction from not being able to see nor hear the grenade coming your way, due to being behind cover and waiting for them to advance or you taking peak shots

As for THEM,

You can launch a made cross map at them, and before it even hits half way, they’re already running from it in god speed.

I find it more of a challenge of grenades than bullets from how much damage they do and reacting to them aka finding new cover with the low health you already have.

#

And on top of that, they throw 3 at once, which is just crazy

And if you’re in the field like me with small boxes as cover, you’re just better off dead

i just extended the range and gave swipe attack roughly +25% and stab +100% exo stalkers take 3 shanks to the head, let me tell you its incredibly fun to knife bloodsuckers

i somehow headshot critical with the swipe attack a frame or so before it did its grab attack, and it left my player to finish the animation while the bloody ran off gripping its side, go figure their brains are in their bellies xD

Lower resource, more dangerous and mysterious Zone, less forgiving gameplay mechanics that are also the best in the series overall

I just did Lab X-18 in that mod last night; it is pitch black, no power at all and flashlights have battery drain, and it managed to be a good challenge without just flooding it with mutants as if it were Doom, plus you have to use a gas mask or better in some places like in Metro (X-18 being one of them)

I found that finding artifacts in CS was a lot more uncommon than CoP and SoC for some reason.

cs with sky reclamation project (fixes lots of bugs) is first chronologically

Play vanilla first. Most " community patches" just make it worse.
