I have read it. It's quit good, but if you are expecting it to be similar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, then you'll be surprised how different it is. About the only few thing these two have in common are the Zone, scientists and army (or police in the case of the book), which is trying to catch the stalkers. However there are some really neat anomalies I wish to have in the games as well.

As far as the unmodded games go, for me it is SoC > CS > CoP and SoC wins by a landslide over the rest

and most gamers don't care about story

Recently, I escaped both the Agroprom Research Institute and got out of lab X-16. And who thinks that those controllers are annoying?

@pliant whale the bedspread in what? which mod are you playing, but as far as I know, the bedspread has no effect. or no actual effect, more or less for RP, having it in your inventory. Unless your talking about the sleeping bag, cause that can be deployed. And the compression bag is used near the deployed sleeping bag to pick it back up.

Clear sky are the same as scientist but firts, they are originated in the zone and reseach it to found the reason of their existence and to find a way to coexist whit the zone

The properties of artifacts will degrade over time

#

An example being if you have a Jellyfish artifact (increases carry weight), the bonus carry weight will decrease until it is 0% efficient

Basically it forces you to actively search for new artifacts and not have the ability to stick with the higher end artifacts for an indefinite time

Well it's pretty simple; if you look at user feedback and see tons of people are having major game breaking issues (like SoC and CS at launch), then there are big problems

SoC and especially CS were objectively some of the buggiest launches

ive had save corruptions (which is easily deterred by using more than 1 save) in SoC but aside from that no issues

Yeah, clear sky doesnt have any game breaking bugs, all the issue about it are from faction wars and thats because faction wars are like the firts nuclear reactonr in terms of stability
