Also another question, would it be possible for GSC to re release an HD version of stalker shadow of chernobyl? like fix the remaining graphical bugs even in 1.0006 and maybe even re adding the grass shadows and grass distance that im sure was taken out of the game because at the time in 2007 it was straining on the hardware. but now everyone has a powerful PC and can afford the extra eye candy GSC originally designed stalker for.

why though? itd end up being incompatible with many mods and provide little to no new content. nobody is going to want to mod on a rerelease when theyve already been doing it on SoC for years. Russian and ukrainian devs still make SoC mods. OP2.1 and NA 6.0 came out recently.
Unless they made major changes or released a functioning SDK alongside it with proper documentation, its not something anybody needs

the story is by far the weakest element of that game, and a lot of the changes makes the game too easy. Maps are large but they all have the same color palettes and are rather bland
i like exploring, but CoP just rubbed me the wrong way in every regard

the HD version im talking about for stalker would just be a graphical adjustment/fixes nothing would change to the story. If you played the original stalker thats on steam and not adjusting anything you get the shadow glitch to the side of the screen the grass shadows dont work the grass distance was once a feature but removed due to hardware limitation. im simply saying it would be good for them to improve the game visually and call it an HD release thats all im stating, and by doing it true die hard stalker fans would buy it to support them

Personally I like to hoard a bunch of guns, ammo, food, etc. I think for sure everyone has a favorite gun they like, and it should certainly feel unique to your character specific. But it should also be open, for you to swap stuff out so it doesn't stay stiff and feel like you stuck with the same thing all the time. In the form of attachments, weapon stickers, slides, upgrades, scopes, and silencers. It would be time consuming to make a system like this, but being able to pick up any random gun and make it truly yours, would be great in stalker

WARNING TO ALL STALKERS: the english fandom stalker wiki (https://stalker.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page) is not the greatest one available! While it is for the most part correct, it does feature some wildly innacurate claims such as claiming that Strelok entered the zone in 1990-something citing no sources, and its head owner is inactive and has basically abandoned the site. The russian stalker gamepedia (https://stalker-ru.gamepedia.com), meanwhile, has much more correct information, and you don't even need to know russian to use it: just translate it to english using google translate, and you'll be able to use it in all its glory. It features many things that the english wiki doesn't have such as Koan's gift (an old build stalker leak), all old stalker builds, and has generally more detailed information regarding weapons and other things.
Really, the best way to see how the russian wiki is better is to check it out yourself.
