What's something that's like a maingear but not?

My maingear vector pro keeps running into issues that require me to take in to micro center every couple of months, and the whole thing has really turned me off maingear computers as a whole. What would be a good kind of laptop that's similar to the maingear vector pro in terms of power and price? Preferably one that doesn't need to be shipped to Taiwan when a part breaks.
