I want to add an SSD to my MG-1 and I found the m.2 storage drive bay but no SATA drive cables. Does the MG-1 not come with SATA data cables in the case?

they should have come in a separate bag with the PC, they give you the SATA data and extra power cables

and also a small pack of cable ties

I've got SATA data cables but I'm not even seeing where I'd attach them to the mother board.

I should say I've got extras.

look up your specific motherboard or check the motherboard manual, it will have the sata ports labelled

they are usually in the bottom right corner of the board, although depending on how large your GPU is, you might have to remove the GPU to connect the SATA cables, if you are not confident, give MG a call tomorrow, im sure they'll walk you through it step by step

Good news, I found the cables. Bad news I still can't find the SATA ports. 😂
