CPU fan a few days ago has been on max speed (I assume) even when just booting and idle. CPU and GPU temps are extremely low <40 so it isn't running anything either. I did clean out some of the dust in the case but this started before that (don't think it is due to hitting a wire and rechecked all their fittings).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is for the MG-1 btw.

Finally figured out the problem… the cable management on these computers is extremely well done, but one of the sharp bends on the backside caused the cover of one of the cpu cables to be exposed. This caused it to short to the back panel and lose all fan control while still functioning in windows (showing speeds…).
