Ok. So if anyone remembers my post a couple months ago, I finally went in and completely cleaned out my loop for my 2019 Maingear Vybe with Apex cooling.
Unfortunately, as soon as I turn on the computer and open HWInfo, the CPU cores are already at 85 degrees (the throttling limit i set). Task manager shows everything running at 1% usage. The coolant is still cool, the GPU is sitting at 28 degrees. I see the pump pumping at speeds I’ve never had before, so that’s working.
I know theres some issue between the block contacting the cpu. Maybe I didn’t screw on the waterblock tight enough. I remember using thermal paste for it, so it’s not that. Is there a possibility that their is some sort of air bubble in there? I assume i put the waterblock in the correct orientation cause if that was the issue then I’d have at least a little bit of cpu cooling.
