I just completed Chapter 6 in this finale event. Afterwards, I was, for some reason, taken to a Portals map, but then once I entered the event, I restarted progress.

Yeah @olive karma. I'm not sure what happened. Quite literally, after completing the Chapter 6 Super Boss, I was just taken to the first screenshot.

so I've since effectively lost all progress on the event as a captain.

You're the first to report this. Not sure if you're the first to complete chapter 6 and this is a configuration problem or if there was a server error with your progress that caused the reset.

I'm monitoring @jolly hollow's stream currently as he is (AFAIK) on the same Super Boss.

I've taken a break for now for captaining so I'm not running an active battle. But I'll see what happens in his battle. It could have been a server error. But if I could be automatically effectively teleported at some point that would be great. I did not lose event status so you could see that I'm still on Tier 19.

I would be very surprised to be the first captain to surpass chapter 6 in this event.

I had the same thing happen a few days ago. Didn't bother reporting it because wasn't sure if there's time for a fix.

I had it happen to me as well. Unfortunately, I didn't grab screenshots.

Thanks, all. Definitely sounds like a campaign configuration issue. I'll investigate tonight and hopefully there's a quick and safe fix.

Started digging in and this will take some more time. Really want you all to have all 14 chapters that Rhada set up for ya so will be back at it tomorrow.

I also had this happen to me; I was reset back to chapter 1. I may just call it quits here. ☹️

Rhada came to our rescue! He confirmed there is only supposed to be six chapters for the final event, just like the previous events. It wasn't our intention to have an epic final event that Captains and their communities felt pressured to complete in a short amount of time.

The reason the game client shows 14 chapters is a display bug caused by a bad game config. Rhada made the fix and I'll be pushing it out later today.
