I don't experience the new ticket system as sustainable. I had a great head-start with over 9000 rubies after conversion of keys and bones into rubies.
After playing each dungeon event a lot, and participating in clashes and actively keeping an eye out for duels running, I have 10 tickets at the moment, 1000 rubies from the last days and considering to not go for the crawler skins because with only four tickets left and still new alien skins coming out I won't be able to handle two different sets of collect-able skins at the same time.
I already did not pick up the non-epic versions of the epic skins and ignored the plasma skins as that set wasn't mine. So I saved some tickets by not spending them there.
With the old system having multiple different skin chests at the same time never felt like you can't keep up with achieving what was needed to get the skins. Please re-evaluate the current cost ratio.
What also could help is bring ways of trading e.g. gold, meat or scrolls for skin tickets.

The Bone, Nightmare, Champion, Plasma, and WWR skins are frequently recurring VS skin lines dating back several years. The Crawler and Alien skins are likely in this same categorization. (The Sylvan skins, too maybe? Have not seen them in a while.)
The shiny epic versions of these skins are available only once, then go away forever. If you want them, you need to get them now. The regular versions will likely be recurring again later.
And for anyone that does not already have all of those older skin lines, they are several years worth of content. Don't feel like you need to be able to purchase all of them the first time you see them. If there are any that you really like, buy them. Buy others as you have extra skin tickets available.

The point I was trying to make is that it's noticable that the costs for a skin went up a lot.... for 3 tickets in my experience you have to spend about 1000 rubies if you wait to cycle chests until you have the ticket and the four random legendary scrolls ... compared to a fix 300 bones or keys in the past.

And: I was only able to buy all the epic skins since the change to the ticket system because I had a huge pile of keys and bones that got converted, before the change it was easier to stay ahead with the skin lines.
Of course the idea might be: you're missing rubies for chests? Then buy some, but as SR gets already the amount of a fullprice title every month, there's no hobby money left for that. (battlepass 10 USD and 50 USD for the gifted skins to get the event skins)
