I noted this message from @proud canyon that the subsequent dungeons starts on August 8.
#raiders-chat message
The offseason window between this past dungeons (D22) and this upcoming dungeons (D23) has been a span of roughly two weeks. In the past, we usually had maybe 1 to 1.5 months, or even alternating events, for dungeons. I think lessening the time between a dungeons offseason is a mistake and I urge the team to reconsider this moving forward.
I think dungeons is a very thrilling game mode, don't get me wrong. I'd also like to take the time to congratulate someone of the captains who made leaderboards who don't always make it in - people like lont123 (who I raided that night), or MYKLMantis, kingjerry_4ever, or Rafipi. We also had bakodemeester who made leaderboards on his first dungeons as a captain, as a long-time viewer. I think these are great things that we can celebrate as a community, without disrespect to our perrenial contenders.
But while I think it has been an integral part of Stream Raiders, Dungeons comes at a cost, particularly for a captain, as it is very stressful to run. Any of those miracle runs, those who make it past 65, that make it to the leaderboards, is something like a 7-10 hour stream. When an event is bimonthly, then sure, doing a couple of those in a two week period, then having lots of time to either enjoy other game modes, take it easy. I think having dungeons more frequently and doing these intense streams more has the risk of causing burnout. I know a lot of captains stopped trying.
