Game doesn't let me force to end the battle in clash. Basicly I took this guy as prisoner since I can't start the battle. Every day a new error a new bug finds me. Again I know no one will give a f. but still wanted people to see this.

isnt one of the restrictions to that button essentially " can only be used during campaign"?
(it used to be usable on all modes but Many people complained so it got limited this much)
So basicly my Stream Raider adventure is done. It doesn't let me open the battle, it doesn't let me end the battle. I'm stuck in this battle now. ๐ I just wish one of my viewers didn't buy the battle pass. What am I gonna tell him now lol.
Hi @peak hemlock - I've raised this with the team to see if they can force end your battle in the background
@paper crater Much appreciated
mhm staff has to end the battle for u
Any news? I assumed my battle would end at the end of the event but it still doesn't let me play the game.
Hello, could you try force ending on the browser? Force ending on the browser works for Duel mode; and Clash and Duels share a lot of the code base.
I was wondering if it works on Clash (and yeah, I know it blocks force ending, but if it works for duels, it might work for clash and get you unstuck).
I've tried many times. It doesn't work.
If there is a solution for this update loop error I think I should fix that first. Cz that will solve my every problem. I can't join the battle due to update loop error.
@blazing raft @karmic light Just tagging to see if you can help force end the battle in the background ๐
Hi! I'm sending this to the team right away ๐ค
Thank you ^^
I believe the issue should be solved now! Can you please let me know ๐
Yes thank you. I'm still having update error tho. That means I'll never be able to play clash again until it fixed. But it's fine for now.
Can you share an ss of the error you get please!
No matter how many times I update it still keeps me giving this error
I am not able to open the battleground of any content from game client. But I can still play on browser.
Hmmm. The fact that the account issue was fixed and you can play in browser but not in the desktop client makes me think it is now a corrupted desktop client. Can you please try uninstalling completely and reinstalling?
I've uninstalled many times actually. Also uninstalled captain hub also but maybe I need to delete some files. Is there any files like that?
I'm trying again now
I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled again I'm still having the same update message.
@open locust Also tried installing on disk D but that didn't work also.
Have you tried disabling your antivirus program or firewall while launching and trying to update? I had similar problems with a slew of other programs and launchers and it was due to my firewall blocking them.
I'll try now and let you know.
Nope. Still gives me the error.
Shame, only thing I can think of then is that there are some corrupt files left over after you've uninstalled it. Can do another uninstall and check if there is any files still left to rule out that option.
I've been doing that for 2 weeks almost now. I think there is no solution for it rn. I even downloaded ccleaner and removed every leftover file for clean uninstall but nothing seems to work. I think I'm stuck with browser rn but it only lets me play campaign. I hope I can also play dungeons on browser cz that was mine and my viewers favorite.
Really appreciate the help though. Thank you.
No problem, don't think this will be of any use either, but a couple of months ago I had a really strange issue where some program linked to my motherboard was causing the battle net launcher to refuse to update any of my games, closing the program down and updates went through as it should.
One more thing you could do is to try to find another PC to install the desktop app on and log in with your account. If you're able to play there, that would confirm that something on your main PC is interfering with the desktop app. As Spunky has mentioned, we've seen plenty of cases where 3rd party programs such as anti-virus software, firewalls, network programs (and even malware) have caused problems with Stream Raiders.
