Recommend a way to convert excess number of not-needed scrolls to needed scrolls ... Maybe something like a 4:1 or 5:1 conversion ratio, possibly subject to Rarity scaling. EXAMPLE: I have one Flag Bearer - I do not want another, and I do not need all the FB scrolls I've collected since maxing-out the first one.

Regarding Flagbearer, specifically:

  • Duplicate Flagbearers speed up “Place N Flagbearers” quests.
  • A L1 flag is useful for placing in battles with the lowest possible effect on difficulty scaling. Very good for early Dungeon levels to help keep difficulty down.
  • A Flagbearer soul is good on frontline units that are likely to die. Allies near where it dies get a damage and attack speed boost. The Flag that it spawns still counts as 1 ally which can potentially make a difference in close battles that time out.

Be that as it may, I will stand on the OP as it applies to any unit I may place a lower priority upon for leveling-up. I do not want an army of "FBs" ... Even if I hold-back another actual FB at L1, I'm still collecting more FB scrolls than I want ... And I do just fine with FB placement quests as-is ... 🙂

I've thought about this in the past and was wondering how this could work. There's only so many duplicates of a unit that are really useful, even for quests, in my opinion, and being able to do something else with the scrolls would be nice. I do have a thought on how I would like to see it done. You sell scrolls for some sort of credit based on the rarity of the unit - 1 credit for common up to 4 credits for Legendary. You then buy scrolls for whatever unit you want using the currency, again based on the rarity - 1 credit for common up to 4 credits for Legendary.

There have been similar requests before. I believe one of the reasons for Unit Souls was to create another thing for long-term players to do with duplicate units.

Not interested in souls yet. I have other goals. I highly doubt that I am the sole outlier here.
