#Tank Soul Feedback

Seems like the only complaint I'm hearing about the Tank soul is that it sucks having the units stationary for 30 seconds. I like the idea of the tank soul, but I would like to see it reworked.

One idea that came up that I found interesting is instead of the units being stationary, they default to the pathing of the unit with the tank soul equipped. As in all units within the defensive shield of the tank soul are "locked" together, still receiving their defensive buff for 30 seconds, but can move and are able to use their abilities and attack enemies. I think this would be a lot more fun to play around with. RnRDoveLove

Lololol, while the trolls do exist, many of the instances I have seen this happen, have been accidental.

We also have a lot of new players in the community and could be genuinely trying out souls, so could be intentional, but without malintent.

I have been guilty of using tank souls in my own battles.

I don't want to make this a negative thing against the community.

It's there in the game for us to use and while some of us may find it annoying, no one is doing anything wrong in using it.

Still, I think it would be an interesting game changer if the units could move.

Timing can be very tactically important. If someone needs a rogue or buster or something to rush in right away, it shouldnt be possible for a single other unit to stall out the plan of possibly multiple other placers. NO one should have that much power over the behavior of other people's units. a defensive buff is cool, I just find issue with the whole not moving thing.

I get what you're saying, but that is the current nature of the tank soul in the game right now, so until things change we have to plan for and expect there to be tank souls in the battles.

If you're paying attention to specific placements like that, you can generally have time to counter it, especially in campaign.

Sure things may be missed, but over all, they are there to be used. There are just some playing experiences we can't curate, unless as a captain you decide to ban people for using them.

I don't like the stationary effects, either, but the souls were introduced to shake up the gameplay. We don't have to always like the decisions made about the game, but I'm not one to go around hating on people because they use what's there.

Totally playing the other side of the field here because at the end of the day, until things change, this is what we have to work with.

All we can do is share feedback and potential solutions we'd like to see.
