Was hoping the recent patch and event patch would fix or address this, but perhaps it hasn't been shared.

This happens occasionally with non-dungeons but every time with dungeons. The timers, placements, in progress, etc all just freeze. I have to click on a different tab (I use Army) and then back to the battle tab to force a refresh. Then I can see battles have ended to collect chests or if new placements have begun.

There's no way to properly show this in a screenshot collection, or even a video, so apologies on not being able to help with proper evidence.

This hurts while multi-tasking and doing dungeons cause I think it's battle time when in actuality I've missed 1 or more battles but don't know it. piratenotlikethis

This might have been a new change with Chrome and "Memory Saver" - we'll need to take a look because nothing that I know of changed on our side that would cause this to refresh any less

There's a Chrome update. After work (about 45min), I'll update and get back to you if anything changed.

Finally got a chance to test and see. No change. Had to hit the army tab and then back to battle for all 4 slots to refresh with chest/dungeon results. Once claimed, all placement timers were well underway.

Okay, another debugging question - is this when you have the tab active at all times? We try to poll something like every 5 seconds for updates, but if the tab is "backgrounded" the browser doesn't let us do that - like how if you start loading streamraiders.com and then tab away, the webgl client doesn't continue loading. It used to load in the background when the tab wasn't active but most browsers made a change a few years ago to disallow that for webgl content 😦
