google the mainboard model you have, select the asrock link in the results, click on the support link (to the right of the specifications link) select the driver you need. unpack the file, run and install the selected file.

So, been having issues with trying to install windows on my m.2 nvme. The drive appears, but it is tagged as an MSR drive, and can't install the OS there.

will try to troubleshoot again later after work though
but the gist of the situation was, after creating a new boot drive that boots to MBR instead of GPT, the installer still says that the OS can't be installed on the SSD. motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M-DS3H. I feel like it might be something with the BIOS version.

@cinder mauve I actually have an even better example, I forgot I did this a long time ago, I took this video myself, it just shows how a weak stress test can't stability test anywhere as well as a strong one like smallfft. Both were prime95 stress tests, first was blend, second was smallfft.

@cinder mauve how successful do you think id be trying to put arch on a cheap HP laptop
i have one laying around, but im concerned about compatibility with the wifi chip, speakers, webcam, etc.
its running windows right now, and its painfully slow
i just want a laptop to use in bed haha
