Hey all, been a long time (~15 years) since I spec'd out a build. Looking to put together a low-power NAS/Streaming/Backup server. Might also run some home automation on it. What are the cools kids using these days for CPU in this type of build? I'm thinking I want as many cores and support for at least 64G of RAM.
@shrewd burrow 64gb of ram is widely supported like super widely supported hard to find anything with less ram support these days, and for high core count you can go for 5800x if you are willing to wait for stock if not then 3700x should be just fine
