honestly you dont need crazy airflow, just run a neg pressure fan set up on a decent case and you should be fine unless you plan to OC
one thing to keep in mind is a bigger case will typically cool better since there is more space which means better airflow and more fans

not sure how urgent your timeframe is but it may be worth waiting a bit and do a build around Zen3 and then go either nvidia 30 series or big navi depending on the benchmarks. AMD is the best deal for your money atm as far as the CPU goes, you will be able to get something much better.

@winged echo its pretty simple, watch a few tutorials on youtube and if you feel confident enough give it a go. It will def save you money and in my opinion is a good experience for any geek to have. You wont even need to mess with the cpu at all which is the biggest pain when building. Just make sure you feel you are able to complete the task before you start it.
also if your mobo has all its pins and the like labled (which most do now a days) it is as simple as reading the lables and matching them to the cables
if it was a prebuild it may be a different story but all individually sold boards that i have seen have everything clearly labled

depends on how much time you spend with cable management and lighting but it shouldnt take you more than a few hours even though its your first time and you will be wanting to take it slow.
an experienced builder could swap cases in 10 min if the cable management is easy

@open peak well im not Australian, thats for sure, but for around $1300 usd thats not too amazing(but not terrible ofcourse, thats still a pretty good rig) i have heard the pc market there is a bit harsh, but im not too familair to know ehat would be a good deal for Australia

You wouldnt want fresh air comming in from the fromt top just to leave at the top, it wouldnt matter too much, but when running a limited fan set up in an already ristricted case, haveing the airflow come from the bottom front to the top back is ideal

And the case is fairly small as well so the heat should rise and move out the back fairly easily
