One more question. I see the list of supported RAM goes up to 16 GB does that mean my board and take that much?
Hello, I'm looking for a pc to do video and graphic design. I'm looking for a desktop and was wondering if one I found would be a good fit.. newegg told me to post on here. https://www.newegg.com/p/1VK-001E-40540?&quicklink=true
thats wayyyy over priced
that should be a $1000 system ish
its only marked up higher cuz 10th gen cpu
actually maybe a $1200 system
cuz 32gb
Do you have any recommendations? I was interested in this one because costco has it for 1250
ah so you can get it for 1250 at costco?
thats not as bad then
but for creators id recommend using an amd cpu
ill see if I can find any good ones within the 1200 range
Yes. But I'm not sure if its the right computer for design. I'm looking for some tech guidance.
do you care if it looks gamery?
Nope. As long as it gets the job done
@void creek to give you a comparison point
that is "equal" is to the build you linked
(add 70-ish usd for the psu i forgot)
so basically the oem makes like $90
aye
but not actually cuz they buy bulk
well, their parts a slightly cheaper still
@void creek which programs will you be using?
for creators id recommend something like this
there is also one with a 2070 super but its $150 more ish
Adobe creative suite- premiere, after effects, illustrator, audition etc.
but amd is releasing new processors soon so it may be a good idea to wait until those drop and the new processors can be put into prebuilt computers
@foggy hazel https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sf223Z thoughts on this?
@little leaf what price for the mainboard?
person put in ram backwards
š¤¦āāļø
how
how?
it cant even go in backwards
did they hammer it in?
ah, so "contact to pins" and then he added power
hm, fair enough
that does burn a slot
thats an F
its fine I don't need more than 16
keep in mind @little leaf the board itself might be REALLY wonky
fair enough :)
its a solid enough build for what it is
@void creek give me a couple of minutes here
have a look here
Ok ill look now
the 10700k is "close enough" to what you had in yours
the 10700F is just not overclockable and doesnt have integrated graphics
In the computer link above. Did that system only have 16 gb of ram? Is that enough?https://www.newegg.com/abs-computer-technologies-ala201/p/N82E16883102972
naed how do I erase a cyber power bios from board
you mean reset it?
Lol whoops
refer to their manual @little leaf
don't have it lol
I got the pc for 100
thats where I got the free board cooler and cpu
check their site @little leaf
@little leaf still think thats an insane deal
Iām thinking off building a pc and donāt know what graphics card to get
you probably wont need to demanding of graphics
i have never had my hands on a cyber power machine (they are not exactly something you see outside of the US)
I want to get a rtx
They don't say pretty sure it voids their warranty or something
@void creek before you ask, yes, their numbers are trustworthy enough
they take that testing of theirs very seriously
Hi.. If someone can help me about how can i build a pc dm me please
just ask here
Okay Iām on a budget for like 1300 to build do I need to up my budget for a good pc
My gaming pc gtx 650ti i3 3240 12ram 1tb hhd no ssd mainbord p8875-v
Never come to Iranā
My gaming pc gtx 650ti i3 3240 12ram 1tb hhd no ssd mainbord p8875-v
@little osprey donate this player for get better pc, he live on the hell but must play with good PC
Fan should grab fresh air from the bottom of the case whenever possible
^
cable management is hard
Is this the right cable for the jrainbow pins? Connecting the argb case fan
Are psu fans supposed to be intake or exhaust
So I'm planning to loan my pc to a close friend while I'm at basic/school for Navy. However I will be replacing the motherboard from a b450 to a b550 as the ram slots are becoming faulty. Will there be any software issues that I may encounter?
Basic/school will be 2-3 years so I'm getting a b550 in case he wishes to upgrade cpu in that time
It shouldnāt be a problem unless your RGB softwares donāt sync up
Well I'm running asus rog strix rgb software
So...
Which is what I'm planning on getting
Ok then it should all work
So Iām thinking about building a custom built pc and what is the best parts I could get for under 1K in total
does this include peripherals?
@young bluff use layman terms
why
jkjk ok
@tribal turtle does this 1k include the budget for keyboard monitor headphone n mouse?
No just looking for a pc
do u have a 144hz or higher refresh rate monitor?
bruh
prolly 60 then
Can I use this
when is the good time to get rtx 2070 super ?
Can I use this
@little osprey thats a really old hard drive that uses ide cables, not sata.
@cloud oasis Cntrl don't be recommending stuff
lol u play league
@prisma stag can you explain why the hell they shouldn't express their opinion?
Just cntrl of all people recommending stuff might not be best for someone that doesnt know what they should buy
Still not giving me a reason why they can't express their opinion
@foggy hazel can you help me out with something real quick? Iām building a pc and Idk if when Iām done I can put it on this table cause itās metal and some people are saying no and some are saying yes and my case has metal legs?
@stoic island let him still doesnt change the fact he plays lol
well waiting for a 3070 over a 2070s is a good suggestion so good job cntrl
IF its just a normal case, and not some random custom case that is wired in some frankenstein way, then there is no problem @quiet cloak
@foggy hazel it is the Lian Li Lancool 2
nothing prevents you from placing that on the table
Static electricity wouldn't do anything?
Naed????
Itās good seeing ya again man howās it going?
And sup Mr1111 and Rogue
@stoic island you are over thinking it.
there is no need to act as a barrier as such
if what you are worrying about was something to actually worry about. @quiet cloak would already have Einstein hair @stoic island
I didnāt build it yet?
you case has feet and the mainboard itself is ON standoffs
Motherboard you mean?
Gotcha
I like the last one better
What's the need for anti static mats then?
Building Iām guessing?
that is when building
I always thought it was to stop static buildup from the table or something
Me too @stoic island Me too
its from you shuffling your feet around @stoic island
I already got a anti static wrist strap I need a mat though since itās all metal
So it doesn't stay around from usual movements?
Well the middle part is wood but the legs and everything that connects it is metal
you dont "need" a mat.
Since itās a L shaped desk
āThingy with extra thingysā
Welp, that's good to know.
I can build on the thingy with extra thingys box?
aye
Yes
What about the fan thingys?
Build basically everything out of case then put it in near the end
I thought I had to put the fan thingy in last though?
Umm I forgot the name
The graphics card yes thatās the name
build outside the case, test boot it outside the case
Usually people do put the graphics card in last
Well not last put do everything on the motherboard then put it in the case
Then put the graphics card thingy in
@quiet cloak you got a lot of people in here thatāll help you build it most people in here are very good at this so you can ask anyone and you already got 2 good people helping you out rn and naed doesnāt mind getting pinged
He told me that a while ago
So I can dm him?
Umm thatās up to him to decide I said ping not dm lol
K thank you very much @foggy hazel and @mellow basalt and @stoic island
sending me a dm will not do you any good @quiet cloak, because i am on my way to bed
but pings i will respond to sooner or later
@foggy hazel not rn lol I meant In the future or when Iām building this tomorrow lmao
Do yourself a favour, download the manual for the mainboard, read that and follow that
that will get you most of the way there
I have it right here
and dont rush
Ik where my ram goes and a lot of other stuff from the manual and Linus tech tips and bitwit and jayztwocents
I wonāt donāt worry š
I have the exact same build/parts as @mellow basalt as well so I can also ask him š
Yea imagine worrying lol @foggy hazel
:)
Wait how do you know we have the same parts @quiet cloak?
Should i get 32gb of ram or 16gb
@mellow basalt umm I forgot which discord server it was but someone asked for your parts/build and I saw it and someone told me all of it was pretty good so I just got it unfortunately I got the same case cause I had no choice š
What the why did it send multiple?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ y'all think this pc would be better then the next gen consoles?
Good luck with cable management I gtg Iām playing some destiny 2 so cya naed and Mr1111 and Rogue
@hoary kayak nope that consoles will storm it by many miles
Theres mo list
Dann so should I just buy the next gen console
@hoary kayak paste the shareable link
@clever oyster you saw your own list
Just look at the link closer
Still the wrong one
Oops I saw the wrong list
@hoary kayak no, that list is a LOT below the next gen consoles
Ight then ima just buy the next gen consoles
not a bad idea :)
@foggy hazel so I got 3 fans that came with the case that isnāt rgb, should I get more fans
your choice.
what case and parts
if the parts are higher end then in most cases yes
but it really depends on specs
The case is Lian li lancool 2
Ryzen 5 3600. B450 tomahawk max, 650 GT supernova psu, 2060 super trident z ram and crucial p1 1tb ssd
@little osprey
@tepid dew what's ur twitch?
@stark tangle itās also babydevani ! haha twitch.tv/babydevani
Bet ill give ya a follow
Ryzen 5 3600. B450 tomahawk max, 650 GT supernova psu, 2060 super trident z ram and crucial p1 1tb ssd
@mellow basalt u dont need more fans it should be fine
but what is the fan setup
Swapped my motherboard, but the new one isnāt reading any bootable devices with everything plugged back in. What can I do to fix this
@tidal vault check the boot order
ok guys so im a bit nervous
i feel like im gonna mess something up with my build
dont have parts yet but finding where to put fan headers and stuff is waytoodank
Be careful of MSI @glad flame nobody trust them right now cause of that scandal that is going around about what did wrong.
@night iron its working great so far! Time will tell
Okay
Since my pc has such old hardware if i bought a new processor and graphics card could smthn bad happen
Like could i fry my motherboard or some thing
For swapping GPU's would I just need to download DDU and hit "Clean and Shutdown" and then swap in my new GPU and download the drivers when I restart it?
@odd copper basically yes
Dope. Thanks
you are very welcome
I need a final opinion before I buy stuff.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TCknmg
too much on mobo, ssd, etc
indeed
Change the mobo to pro vdh wifi b550
@final breach what do you already own?
Change the ssd to mp34
everything else can be edited?
@vital warren Im getting most of my stuff from micro center. and im not buying the gpu yet
because oh boy I'd like to change some things :)
yea
first things first, just no to 75hz monitor
just
no
the rest I'll edit the list
I just need something to start off with while I save up a bit more
unless I just start with a 60
what about starting off with 144hz
it is
Yes it is
Looking at the list, it is actually in your budget
I'll slap one in for ya actually
Very much so in your budgey
k den
can save like a combined $100 on mobo/ssd lol and put that towards monitor
can save like a combined $100 on mobo/ssd lol and put that towards monitor
@vital warren
yes you put a very expensive b550
the one they're suggesting is like 70 cheaper iirc
@final breach starting off
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PHZXLP
cheaper mobo, better ram, cheaper ssd, better GPU (2060 super is a sizable step up from 2060), better case, and 144hz monitor at the bottom
this monitor:
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824737012
Performance over looks my guy
and TD500 mesh has plenty of RGB in terms of the front argb fans
smh
shame
Why not. A 5700xg
@little leaf tbh I'm too lazy
Prob gonna throw some more fans on the top
no need
@final breach stock config does just fine
no need for extra fans to fill it up
Reason: Bad word usage
tell him to buy it for you then >:D
i heard it was kinda minimal though
Good air cooler can beat a bad AIO
eg a nzxt or corsair aio
overpriced
agreed
Arctic freezer ii is the only AIO I approve
but preformace wise
Stock AMD cooler is aight tho?
how well is the Z73 vs the arctic freezer?
the stock amd cooler is alright for ryzen 7 3700x at the max
you will want a better cooler for like a ryzen 9
So like how much more significant is hard cooling then a good aio
oh
custom loop is all varible
@ripe wedge don't think GN made an article when they finally got their 360mm, but here's a chart with the 280mm freezer ii against all the other bois
I'll go look again to see if I can find em
yea
but the X73 has lower rpm
so possible that by raising the fan rpm a bit it could reach the same perf
cuz the artic cooler was 1100
the specific RPMs are there for a reason
o whats that mean
so they get all the different coolers to be at the same sound pressure level
ah
by setting specific fan speeds
for more effective comparison
they also have a 100% fair speed chart, with sound pressure listed if you want to see that
@ripe wedge anyways here's the thing with arctic freezer ii 360mm in there too
so 5 degrees difference
hell
thats pretty large
this section of the video tells ya about noise
https://youtu.be/KPLWlkHPlyo?t=357
After the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 proved to be the best CPU cooler for AMD Ryzen, EK's AIO 360 D-RGB took the crown. Now we're looking at 280 vs. 360mm radiators and the 360 Liquid Freezer II.
Sponsor: Buy Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on Amazon (https://geni.us/1D8Eeq) or...
build chat is multi-purpose :P
true
lol
Might just have to try to cop the gpu on prime day, cyber monday, black friday. Or I might just havr to wait until after the new year for prices to drop.
anyways @ripe wedge this is why 100% fan speed testing doesn't tell you the best AIOs, just look at that noise pressure measurement on the left for clc360 compared to others lol
I have reasons for recommending things, and nowadays I actually know 10% of what I'm talking about :P
but is liquid freezer best thing i can get for cooling
well not the best but
like one of the best
'best' non-crazy setup yea
it's not gonna be able to compete with Ln2/liquid helium/dice/chilled ofc
but yaknow
yes
Reason: Bad word usage
Bruh
bad words
According to some external apexes I shouldnāt get an EVGA Psu
who
use tier list
PSU Tier List 4.0 rev. 14.4 Last Update: 10-09-2020 Gold - best units in the tier (includes requirements for blue color in tier A) Blue - quiet operation under moderate load Green - small form-factor See spreadsheet for changelog, methodology, detailed description of colors, s...
C tier and above are good nuff, go for A/B tier when budget allows

EVGA actually has some of the best PSUs too btw
Whatās the difference between and NVME and a normal m.2 ssd
NVME is a normal M.2 SSD :P
imo, just don't grab SATA M.2 SSDs, they serve no purpose being M.2 @final breach
NVMe has much higher speeds than SATA.
@stoic island thank you for sending me about that stuff. very informative. I had to go do some stuff for a few minutes but im back now
bruhhh
antec is worse than evga lmao
He doesnāt know what heās talking ab
G3 is really good
OCP OPP is a fairly major issue, theoretically.
except that would only become an issue if you're pulling like 40% overload
I trust yāall more than I trust him, he got most of his info from carter PCs server
Iām also trusting a friend that actually working in IT
Instead of whatever bs that was
Lmao
@viral ore the issue is, the PSU won't shut itself off if you start pulling 900w from a 750w, and might burn itself, but you're not gonna be pulling that much overload unless you're crazy lol
Yea
(the high-set OCP/OPP on G3)
I personally am only going for Corsair cuz I like their policies
so like if a corsair psu kills ur components they will replace them

Corsair has some pretty good PSUs too
@stoic island cosair prebuilt tho
Lol
Those can run you a pretty penny
CX green label xD
@final breach anyways point is, the specific reason I choose a BR 600w in your list is because it's cheap for 600w, and it works and without having major issues
yea top exhaust works
yea i saw a video on it
u could do front but if u do u have to do tubes down
will temps be better if i put it outside of the case
probably but it would look ugly
true
@ripe wedge good thing about top exhaust is that you don't have to worry about tubes, it's going to be above the cpu, and tubes same same height as the other end.
i dont know if i should get air cooler
I might do a push pull config with my aio
cuz arctic liquid freezer looks cool and has good temps
as long as I have long enough screws
dont know any air cooled ones that arent bulky
just finished the hardware installation for my motherboard, cpu, psu, and case swap, i switched to the B550M, Ryzen 5 3600, and a 750w power supply, although i can't sign in, i think i'm missing some drivers or something, i cant even sign to access the website to download them, anyone know what I should do? Please @ me :/
think about it this way
also i decided to get maximus hero
AIO is an air cooler that just has the heatsink away from the CPU
lots of stuff
all coolers need a good sized heatsink
true
it's either on top of the CPU, or placed away in the form of a rad.
u just changed my thinking of aios
Lmao
And cpu cooling in general
@stoic island Brew works in IT
lel
But yea they really really shouldn't just say EVGA bad because G3 has that issue
Also should i get rgb cables for looks or no
EVGA is actually pretty good for PSUs in general
not worth?
no rgb?
oh and btw want to screw up your previous distinction of air vs liquid cooling?
Reason: Bad word usage
rgb gets annoying
Air cooling uses specialized liquids in the heat pipes to get heat away from the coldplate
so Air cooling uses liquid to move heat away
:D
actually?
@final breach EVGA BR 600
Thanks
Also why do coolers have so much space between the plate and the actual fans
What do you mean?
@stoic island would it make a difference if I went semi or fully modular
With the PSU
Oh they want as much surface area as possible for heat to dissapate
ex.
@final breach only difference is looks
@cloud oasis think about it this way, they want the most area for fins for heat to dissapate
fan only helps push that heat
@final breach you just try to get fully modular
Modular could be a bit easier to build with
if u cant get semi
but no performance difference
also if cables break u cant replace with semi
and why would they break lol
Or damage
^
idk
I've never heard of any cables just breaking
Like putting them kn backward
stuff can break
How
like in a reasonable way
Any good semi or fully modular psu recommendations?
not saying you can't take a scissor to it
Decently priced
Mwe 650
Iām willing to spend a bit more for the psu
Itās a pretty critical part to the build lol
And if you can spend enough for mwe gold
you can spend enough for Seasonic Focus GM
Mwe gold 650
which is just a better PSU
Ye
As I said
GM is just a better PSU
better warranty too
this tier list is extremely useful for looking at PSU quality at a glance.
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psucultists-psu-tier-list/
PSU Tier List 4.0 rev. 14.4 Last Update: 10-09-2020 Gold - best units in the tier (includes requirements for blue color in tier A) Blue - quiet operation under moderate load Green - small form-factor See spreadsheet for changelog, methodology, detailed description of colors, s...
they got sources listed if you want to dig deeper.
that jawn mad cofusing
?
higher on tier list = better
blue = especially quiet bois
gold = good bois
green = sfx bois
Whats sfx bois
sfx psus
small form factor PSUs
doesn't really matter
some people say more stable rails for multi-rail
but depends more on model
ya
aight bet
@stoic island lol the psu I have on my list isn't on that tier list
Hi.. If someone can help me about how can i build a pc dm me please
@hard atlas yt videos exist
does the b55m mobo come with a m.2 heat sync
It does
you don't need a heatsink anyway
In this video, I build my new monster PC and try out in Fortnite to see how many frames I get. This is basically my ultimate dream PC
build that I've been wanting to upgrade to for a while now. It includes a RTX 3090, an i9-10900k, 64GB of RAM, and an insanely cool AIO
liquid...
Imagine getting a 3090 and a 10900k for fortnite
Worst part. Imagine what them temps finna look like
RIP little 3090 running at 90c
*proceeds to call an 8700 and 1070ti not enough for fortnite while also getting 300fps * š
I swear youtubers are hilarious to watch
well, that particular one has you commenting on it here.
so in that regard, they did a good job (from their POV that is)
Yeah, I mean I'm not hating to each its own. It just makes me laugh when they say things like. Yeah I got a 3090 for fortnite at 1080p š
Business101
aye
IF people still want to pay, fair enough. cannot stop them from that
at least i get paid for doing boring work
That's fair
from my POV, i have just built enough l33t gamer machines to last a couple of lifetimes
so i really dont want to build more if i can avoid it
Oh boy let's hope that's not a h510
Omg fortnite play a different game lol
He also bought a 10900k a month before zen 3 lol
hmm pg4 ac only has 1 m.2 slot and 2 less sata slots
bottom ac
top is pg4 normal
(b550)
If you donāt know much about cases the h510 looks fine
But there are a lot of other cases that are better for a bit more
. . .
for less money you can get a better case
like
a lot better
MX330-g air
3 rgb fans
with actual airflow
and it's 60$
when h510 is 70$
@final breach I don't ever see a reason for me to put a h510 into anyone's lists
Should I build or buy
Building yourself is 95% of the time just straight out better than prebuilts
Cheaper cus Iām on a budget
Yes
Okay
Cus I canāt have a job yet
So
Idk how to find good parts
And should I down grade so parts and get a i9
Some
Or get a i7 and get better parts
what budget
1000-2000
and please go to your trash can, and empty your brain of "i9 i7 i5 i3"
Why ??
Specs > Branding
i7 can mean lots of things
@upbeat lodge an i7 could be a 4 core 4 thread chip from a decade ago, or a 6 core 12 thread chip from last year
who the hell knows
it doesn't specify
that's why you should straight up use model
Sorry Iām new to this building thing
its fine i used to do that kinda stuff
no
i9-10900k? i9-9900k? i9-9980xe? i9-10980xe?
that's just from the last 2 generations
Oh
Lemme just make you an intel 1500$ list and I'll explain from there
okay
@upbeat lodge here, FE is a placeholder for any 3080 model that becomes in stock.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qBYwPV
:P
??
do you think I'd purposefully make a bad build
No lol
exactly
Iām not looking for something amazing
what about monitors
3080 is pretty amazing tho :P
you looked into monitors yet, and consider their prices?
and then keyboards and mouse and headset
I can help with monitors, and I can point you towards the right direction for kb+m+headest
You're welcome, and I'd honestly put more budget for the monitors
let's step back for a second
you are aware that 3080 can easily give you a good 1440p 144hz gaming experience correct?
Yeah
Then please consider a monitor such as this
https://www.newegg.com/black-acer-nitro-gaming-series-vg270u-pbmiipx-27/p/N82E16824011243
A large amount of people will consider 3080 quite overkill for 1080p.
Yeah but the price
3070 is going to go so fast
A single one
@upbeat lodge why do you want dual monitors?
Hey man i got a triple monitor set up with a side desk for my work
Because a single 27in 1440p monitor has a good bit more screen real-estate than a single 24in 1080p monitor
Thatās amazing
@sacred chasm yea I'm asking if they have a purpose for it
The 27 inch is really nice
because single 27in 1440p monitor is amazing for most people
^
better than having 2x1080p
i used to have a 23 inch 1080 60 hz
when you're just gaming at 1440p144hz on a 3080
Its worth it upgrading to a 27 inch 1440
IMO 27 inch 144hz monitor is better than two 1080 monitors
Okay thx man
Yea, that's my opinion unless you have something that requires 2 monitors
I will dm you if I need help
this chat works too
I use multiple monitors for my research and students
Or that
yeah and if youre going 1080p theres not much reason to get a 3080 if youre gonna be gaming on them
@upbeat lodge just gonna warn you, peripherals get much deeper than just "good keyboard good headset", so you might want to look further into that
I have some good recommedations if you need them
#peripherals-and-displays get interesting
it really does
its been a couple of months since i've been active on the discord tho haha
I love minimalist setups
I want a steel series headset
Lets move to #peripherals-and-displays then
I'm still trying to figure out audiophile stuff
I'll wait for Naed
lets move there
Tier list pinned in channel @sharp bear
what does that mean
@sharp bear this
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40/
PSU Tier List 4.0 rev. 14.4 Last Update: 10-09-2020 Gold - best units in the tier (includes requirements for blue color in tier A) Blue - quiet operation under moderate load Green - small form-factor See spreadsheet for changelog, methodology, detailed description of colors, s...
A>b>c>d self explanatory
so this one is tier A ?
no
" The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled. "
What does this mean? sorry i am new to pc builds and pc stuff.
It means that u cant use 2 sata ports if u have a m.2 ssd
Oh okay thanks @small osprey @stoic island
How good is this build 1-10 ? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
please send the shareable link
3
wut why ?
iād get an asrock b550 phantom
etc etc
if itās not oos
@foggy hazel so you mean i can get same specs for lower price ?
yes
@little leaf bro this case is ugly
personally i would chuck the HDD and go with a 1tb ssd instead
going 3700x is not a bad idea either imo
Heh
@foggy hazel whats the difference ?
simple or complex answer?
no, he is asking me about the 3600x and 3700x
@foggy hazel complex
Fun answer time
future proofing and ability to scale on a workload level VS hoping against reality that the consoles are slower than they appear like
that covers it all
2 more cores
basically, go with 3700x IF you want a CPU that at least has a chance to follow along with the next gen consoles
Would 3700x be higher or lower binned silicon compared to 3600x? Prob doesn't matter
so this would be better build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2jhdCz ?
aside from you switching back on the ram to something slower. yes

Iām pretty new to pc and stuff and donāt know a lot even though I try to do my research but I need honest opinions on this and if itās worth the price
@little osprey nzxt motherboard = bad
I've heard a lot of bad things about the bios
MSI Z490 Unify might catch your eye if you're going for that look
Or vision g z490

Anyone know if the x570 amd aorus xtreme from newegg is the rev.1.1?

Bruh I'm eating too
seagate barracuda
$55
good value
should be the first choice when you hit hard drives lol
Bro anyone good at helping me with wires
what kind
4+4 stuff yea
Ok
How can I wire it so that way it reaches but it's still neat
Because there is a slot above but it doesn't reach for me to plug it in
tho you can usually route it around the left side
Ah ok
if there's no good space behind the motherboard
I can try
and then try to plug it in
@stoic island I have a question that u could answer quick prolly
how can you tell which one is the cpu one
is it far right?
think that looks like a 4+4
it's thicc compared to others
yea
I was worried they looked the same for a bit lol
was worried might accidentally use a pcie one instead cpu
lol
now I know for sure that wont happen
lol
I'ma try bending it and I'll let you know how it goes
Alr
Would it break the system if I were to make it split and do half and half
So 4 in one of the things and four in the other
Just don't
either leave the 4 pin on the left empty
or grab another cable
the 4 pin on the left is optional
left or right I forgot, but the 4 pin that's to the side and standalone
who needs cables to be neat
it's literally only looks
even if you threw all your random cables in there, it doesn't really affect performance
Ok
I have a plan
I will try it real quick
Oop
One of the godamn intake fans is in the way
I mean I can quickly Take it out and put It back
But for now I'ma have to pick up on this tommorow
no one really knows :P
Dam
keeps getting a few cards in and selling out in half a minute
Well I will watch it
buy a prebuilt just for 3080

I mean I could have bought a prebuilt with a 3080 in it
on newegg earlier
but meh
ill wait til they are available widely
So this is the first time this has happened I was playing Witcher 3 and my game just froze and I was getting a loud buzzing noise coming from the audio. My build is r5 3600x EVGA rtx 2070 super Asus prime B550M-A 24 gbs of Corsair vengeance rgb pro. What should I do about this
Hello,
What's the best way to upgrade the following PC MSI MPG Trident 3 10SI-002CA Gaming Desktop with IntelĀ® i5-10400F, 1TB HDD, 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super & Windows 10 Home
I've beed told to add Ram. Is this correct or incorrect?
Please @ me! Any advice is greatly appreciated
yes @sharp steeple
upgrading the ram would be a good upgrade to that build
bump that 8gb up to 16gb
im unsure what type of ram it takes, youd have to open up the PC and let me know if its laptop memory or desktop memory
before i make recommendations
Okay you don't happen to know any ram do you? My last pc was led into a dead end upgrade wise
Ah okay!
I don't have it yet
Id like to have the ram when i get it
Thank you however! If i haven't figured it out ill be sure to put it here
alright
when you open it up, check to see if it takes this ram (short)
or this ram (long)
Ah okay! Will do! Thank you so much!
sure, glad i could help
I only know desktop ram fairly well im dumb asf when it comes to laptop ram
Well thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
So want to get the 3080 but is out of stock so
What should I get
Iām willing to spend 700 usd
3070 drops later this month, could try to wait on it/find a 3080 in the mean time
3080 or 3070 is best choice for the coming months
3070 price to perf will be really good, but if youāre set on the 3080 just wait until itās back in stock and get it right away
Okay thatās what I mean
yo I have a problem that I made need some help fixing
so I built a pc today and everything went good but my m.2 ssd is not showing up anywhere
I installed it and I canāt find it on bios or when I boot into windows
