Because truthfully you're not going to need it
Nor will anyone else here
I'm trying to save you money here
So I'm gonna do some slashing
dont do any slashing
That psu is a little overkill
This one is 15 bucks cheaper
Future proof isn't really something you should worry about
@trail ravine you might want to remember that the front panel connectors on the node304 are "only" usb 3.0, its a minor thing, just dont be disappointed about it later :) Aside from that, its a solid build, only things i would change would be a better PSU and as @mild trout said, more ram.
@cloud oasis all I was saying is youre overspending
@keen depot i would remove the HDD and use some of that money for a better psu
aye aye, i saw @trail ravine
thx
just saying "IF"
Any suggestions naed?
yeye
let me see what is actually in stock on your end
hmm, also, while i am at it, im going to change that m.2
?
Alrigjt
hm
do either of you actually NEED that 2tb HDD?
@trail ravine question above is also for you
I mean not really at the immediate moment
I don't install a whole lot of games quickly
and it frees up budget to do something like this
AMP psu is for both of you
its a really nice model
Alrigjt
and @keen depot for you specifically, IF you drop the hdd, you have budget for the 1tb m.2
which is a much more "fun" storage drive to use
@trail ravine see the list above
Thanks a whole lot
hmm
and the 10 year warranty on the psu does not hurt either :)
I'll be impressed if anyone manages to keep it that long
its not so much the fully modular part that is nice about it.
its more just the build quality of it
its a seasonic built but phantek branded unit
o
Lol in total 1500.14
@keen depot seasonic units normally have no problem lasting the 10 years
i have multiple of them here that are that old
I know that, but at some point they'll get replaced
aye aye
I mean I know some people keep pc parts
but where something like the Antec that @trail ravine had, and the Cooler Master you had, i would not be willing to trust them even for their warranty period. I have no problem whatsoever with the AMP (because its basically a Seasonic)
and yes, model over brand.
that specific one is however "that" good.
i had the cooler master
So how long do you think before I can get my hands on a 3080
but regardless
well, what can i do, i just woke up :)
damn
i need to go to sleep
just about 1am here
thanks for the help man
oh yikes total is $1250 if all goes well
you are very welcome :) enjoy the node304, its a lovely case to build in
yees i am very excited about the case
Remember, you are limited to 2,2 wide on the GPU
preferably 2.0 width is the sane option
@trail ravine also, give a shout when you have the parts or before, if you have questions about the build process itself
aye aye, you got to get hold of a GPU first :)
also, you HAVE seen that the node304 comes in white too right?
ah, that late for the build
scratch most of it
?
ask me/us again
when we are in the start of november
will do
yeah im just used to the console aesthetic
small black box that does its job
reasons: new CPU from Amd and new GPU from amd too
lmao
both are coming out before then
yeah im thinking about that
new ryzen chips will still work fine on a b550 i assume?
cool
yeah i wouldnt do 450 anymore
it gives a 100% upgrade path to the zen3 (new ones) chips
oh really
just make sure to update BIOS tho
yea
What happens if u dont upgrade
that part of it will be relevant when the time comes
no post
i can just download bios onto a flash drive and update it that way, right? i dont need an older already supported cpu?
depends on the board
hm
only some boards support that feature
seems unintuitive
Can u do that with asus tuf x570
i can just download bios onto a flash drive and update it that way, right? i dont need an older already supported cpu?
@foggy hazel would the board on my build do that?
Can u do that with asus tuf x570
@cloud oasis no
yike
only boards that can currently do that is MSI boards
oh heck
@trail ravine but again, wait, nothing to even start thinking about now
true
under different branding usually, but lot of them support BIOS flashback
Or can u just wait until they make mobos that are already updated for zen 3
well, if you want to worry about something that might not even matter to you, then please, go ahead :)
@cursive wharf specifically talking about the "no cpu" at all needed in the board
So then others need a CPU, but doesnt need to be compatible? No mention of that in Asus b550 Strix for example
Oof I just realised the board has no wireless networking
Also im thinking of using this https://www.amazon.com/Cudy-WE3000-3000Mbps-Wireless-Bluetooth/dp/B082NZYDDM for my wifi
so where do i install this
On my mobo
Mobo is asus tuf x570 plus
the pcie slot
Hi guys, need some advice on a fan setup for my new pc case. https://www.newegg.com/black-thermaltake-view-51-tempered-glass-argb-edition-atx-full-tower/p/N82E16811133427?Item=N82E16811133427 the case comes with two 200mm front mounted intake fans and a rear 120mm exhaust. I have 5 noctua 120mm fans and a 280mm AIO. I was thinking of having 2x200mm as intake, a side mounted 280mm aio as intake, keep rear 120mm as exhaust, add 2 120mm on top as exhaust and the other 3 120mm on bottom as intake. Any thoughts/suggestions welcomed!
So,
Intake : 2x200mm Front, 3x120mm Bottom, 2x140mm Side
Exhaust : 1x120mm Rear, 2x120mm Top?
yes
@sick gyro My thought is it's quite positive pressure heavy, I tend to like more neutral airflow so it's easier to manipulate the airflow pattern in the case
I.E. Too much intake, so the exhausting air can go randomly out vents and other holes in the case
but you won't know until you try
Gotcha, ill try with the setup. I just have those extra 5 fans so i figured id put them to use instead of letting them collect dust.
2x16 or 4x8 for ryzen. Does it make a difference?
Just performance?
Im looking at upgrading from a skhynix m die 2800c15 memory setup to samsung b die 3200c14 but I dont know if 2x16 has a performance difference
32gb is all i need for my cad stuff
Do you really care about b die?
yeah
Why do i get like 50 ping with an ethernet
Because your provider is bad
If you're using ethernet right to your router, not really much you can do except maybe a better internet plan or better provider.
(Assuming decent cable and decent router)
F
In my first ever build (This is what I am planning) I plan to have a 3070 in my build I am still saving up though
Thank you! I use that and neweggs PC build
PCPP uses prices from all websites not just Newegg so it's a bit better.
can someone make me a pc list under 100$? lol
Yea
if u dont want to its all good im not actually gonna buy it im just curious lol
My Pc will cost around 1.2K without the 3070 but when I get that it will be around 1.7K
Nice
@digital pecan used optiplex
I did math wrong
that's your answer :P
Hard drive bad
Im very new to the PC building world
did you really get a plus gx 1000w
yep lol
Why get a 700 dollar 2070 super when you can get a 700 dollar 3080
Why get a 700 dollar 2070 super when you can get a 700 dollar 3080
@keen depot wasnt out at the time
this was my first build from a year and a bit ago
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mr1111/saved/Zg4RJx
that was before I joined wegg discord
@stoic island do you know any good wireless network adaptoes
Yes
thats a long list
Does a raspberry pi count as building a PC lol
at what price
I would say probably 40 at most
120$
too lazy to look further but t6e is good enough
https://www.newegg.com/tp-link-archer-t6e-pci-express/p/N82E16833704274
bit overpriced
We had to get extra stuff for it
but I'm too lazy to find the like 25-30$ ones
you own it or have it in the list
in the list, change it out for t6e
if you own it, good nuff
yes
thank youu
i appreciate it thank you
please get a black cpu cooler π
:|
no
If you're not a Noctua fan, you're not all performance over looks
:P
NF-a12x25 can slap any 120mm fan you try to throw at it
look at this amazing cooler
just stare at it
:)
ew
jk
but unless its a noctua specialized build
that stands out
in a not good way lol
@arctic jungle it's the gtx 1080 I've had for a while now. still don't have a 3080 ya know
better cooler
thank you!
Can i get a $500 budget build pls thx, if you need more info lemme know
sure
not 500
but if anyone has experince in diy water cooling i need help for a flashy hard tube build in a lian li case for 600
id like to know the gpu is a 1660 but doesnt need to be watercooled but leave out 50 for a vertical mounting bracket
not for me its just someone that want there pc to look flshy
uh
@wary geode why do you want to custom water cool your cpu
just get an AIO
and put that money into getting a better gpu
wth
b550 aouros pro belive
my goodness is it flashy and nice
he streams and is a audio producer so he needs cpu heavy anyways
kinda not so much i aint rich
so wait, do you offer
ive bent tubes and have all items nessasary
just never actually put it together
*whats the worry?
500-600$
i mean a tip i read while looking into the stuff was use zipties to lay out the stuff
and then build it off of thosie more or less
ba
ok no worries
im stil in planning
im planning a hydro version with a lian li distro plate
and a 360 rad
gpu vertically mounted
-so-unds g-ood
ok cool cool
alright, good luck
@mossy citrus I meant to put in a u14s
oh
which is same if not better than fuma 2 :P
fuma 2 good value
62$
wait
wrong thing
fuma 2 is good value, still better than u14s
u14s is better than u12s tho
@austere condor does the glass go on the case?
or is the CPU cooler too big lol
glass fits. i just take it off for photos cause it glares
the lights i have are too bright to take photos with the glass panels on
thats how i have stuff setup for taking photos
what do you guys think would be a good cpu to combine with a 1650 super
thats how i have stuff setup for taking photos
@austere condor Thats sick! What kind of camera?
Canon M50 with a sigma 30mm F/1.4
Nice
@vague willow i'd recommend a ryzen 5 2600 for the 1650s personally
I would reccomend a 3100
for a budget build a 3100 works very well
if you are trying to go below 500 try a 9100f
if you have a higher budget through it into a gpu
so 3100 + 1660s
is better than 2600 + 1650s
I am not interested in gaming, but would a new gaming desktop processor speed up my desktop computer? My proc: AMD A4-6300B APU
Yeah
@fair atlas you are on what is considered a dead platform. Meaning, mainboard, ram, and cpu would have to be replaced for it to make any sense
@fair atlas and at the same time, do you know if you have a SSD?
Will a b450 ds3h handle R7 1700
yes
drive is: WDC WD2500AAKX
Is it good to mount vertical gpu?
@fair atlas okay, that is a HDD, so IF you dont want to upgrade everything, there is a some extra life to be found by going with a SSD upgrade
Switching to an SSD is one of the best all around quality of life upgrades you can make
I should just get a new gaming machine. Yes?
IF you want to play anything modern ? yes
Is a gaming machine a faster choice for general use?
yes
what do you plan on using it for if u get one
but overall, gaming components are almost always better than workstations and other
If it's primarily for web browsing or something there's going to be a point of diminishing returns.
just upgrade ram for web browsing
Well that's the question though, what is "general use"?
got it thxπ
Np
music, web browsing, facebook, email
A gaming PC is just a really fast PC that happens to be good at gaming :p
may i ask for help from someone? to help me create a simple but good build mainly for streaming and light pc gaming?
@nova shadow give region and budget
@fair atlas you might be better served just grabbing something like a chromebook?
vg
US, 800$ but if needed 1k max @stoic island
thank you!
Mobile is hard to edit on
I can slim it down to 800$ if you want
Or add some other stuff
greatly appreciated! i know nothing about pc building but i know i wanna stream from pc instead of my console
Time to watch a lot of yt
no 870 if fine π it didnt have to strictly be 800, i have some wiggle room
100% going to start watching youtube
what other stuff would you add?
its okay if it hits close to 1k
@stoic island
Need monitor?
Well a 1000$ build would look completely different, but that will do fine
hmm what would you recommend?
Ehhh right now, I don't really want to make a 1000$ build because 3070 is coming
Prob can >:)
may i still request the 1k build anyways? if youd really rather not its totally okay. i just wanna start somewhere with pc building
@nova shadow no I mean I don't feel comfortable reccomending it with the uncertainty of the 3070 launch stock
Either I give you the list, and you find out you can't get a 3070 for months
would it help if you just leave the 3070 out?
Or I give you an alternate list without 3070, and find out 3070 stock was fine, and kicks the hell out of existing GPUs
Soooo yea
ohhhhh okay okay i understand
3070 is supposed to be really damn good
2080TI preformance for a fraction of the priczqe
i can always upgrade later on, this would be my first pc
@stoic island any luck on the shaving?
O sorry didn't see you sent it
lol
how much of a shave do you want
@keen depot like cheapest possible while keeping perf
or somewhat conservative
So mr1, you know how intel is more used for builds above 2080s? Does that mean for the 3000 series, that intel would be a better way to go for all the 3070,3080,3090?
oh ok
not because of GPU bottlenecking
i thought it was performance
Because if you need to spend 450$ on 10600k+z490, it's better to get 300$ 3600+b450 and spend the extra on GPU
yeah
The comparison we use most is would you rather have 3600+2080s or 10600k+2070s
you saw the deal on the z490 and i7-10700 right?
@keen depot really quick small corner cutting
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Lj8rJb
no?
Newegg.com has Intel Core i7-10700KA 8-Core 3.80GHz Processor +
Gigabyte Z490 AORUS ELITE AC LGA 1200 Intel Z490 ATX Motherboard + Marvel Avengers Special Edition (PCDD) for $489.98. Shipping is ...
its not bad
the hell is a KA
integrated graphics i think
K has integrated graphics
prob but I don't get it
I think that 10700ka is just a k that comes in an avengers themed box, but I am not 100% on that
maybe
@keen depot more corners cut:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tbsLV7
@stoic island just got back from a class
uhh
just to double check, you sure that MB can handle a 3080?
i have a 1500 budget btw
probably shouldve mentioned that instead of being an idiot
Could the power supply handle it doesnβt it need 750w at minimum
Iβm playing rainbow right now and I just built this pc not to long ago and this is my first game Iβve really played on it
And it sounds like my pc is about to take off
Is that normal
Have you checked temps?
Yeah highest 74 currently
guys my nee monitor came in but im still waiting on my gpu to come in to finish my build, do you think its fine to go ahead and unbox my new monitor and try it on my old crap system or should i wait for my new pc
@ashen cove prob just default fan curve being bad
@ashen cove That is completely normal
@keen depot I mean you didn't respond earlier :p
I have the Evga 2060 ko ultra
And there's no reason a b550 hdv can't handle a 3080
Even though the Mobo is pretty bad relatively
@ashen cove whatβs your fans spinning at while gaming?
And what case fans, case and cpu cooler
@stoic island what monitors would you recommend for the build you put together for me?
lil late but a 10700ka is a 10700k just with an avengers box
no way
?
guys my nee monitor came in but im still waiting on my gpu to come in to finish my build, do you think its fine to go ahead and unbox my new monitor and try it on my old crap system or should i wait for my new pc
your monitor will not magically stop working if you do that.
thanks naed imma try her out then
best of luck :)
I have a USB stick and a Mac computer. How do I get windows 10 on the USB so that I can install windows 10 onto my new computer?
??
VG27WQ?
everything is kinda fuzzy lmfao
i think thats my fav interaction between naed and a member
Hm?
mr111
@stoic island so I just put the ISO on the usb and then I can boot the ISO from BIOS?
the media creation tool
don't make the iso file
and once you get media creation tool on the usb
plug in
and let it boot into windows without going into bios
yea
the link you sent me is only windows 10 disc image
monitors can have drivers too
i changed my display settings from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440
when I google windows media creation tool it leads me to the link you sent me
and its perfect now
2sec @mild trout
weird
thought I was going crazy
maybe apple doesn't want you going windows lol
o god
first curved screen ever
this gonna take some getting use to
is it ok to max out the brightness?? i wont hurt the monitor will i?
lol
@stoic island look, i appreciate what you did, but i shouldve specified that i have a budget of 1500
yes
did we not cover your list last night @keen depot ?
link list again
and what do you need network adapters for?
you have the built in one?
or do you mean wifi?
the "quick" way, is to just scale the m.2 down to 500
some edits back
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8fbLV7
alright
that works, nice list @stoic island :)
:)
@trail ravine @little leaf I appreciate the recommendations Bois my apologies for responding almost 5 hours later lol
can someone send me the best 1000$ gaming pc build with windows included and has to run 144fps at 1080p on fortnite
gotchu hold up
CAD or USD?
and do you need WiFi or are you gonna use ethernet?
@elder aurora
no just windows im using wireless internet
cool cool
gotchu cool almost done
im slow as hell
thank you!
for sure. @ me if you need anything else
god my parts are finally coming in and it feels so good unboxing
i only have yall to thank
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9CLcZf what do you guys think of this?
cause u cant make up ur mind π
dang jake thats an expensive cpu cooler
That costs less
@ripe wedge RAM Looks good case is good psu is good what about a b550 motherboard instead?
u must like that it reads the temperature to u?
@whole stag I was thinking about that but I really wanted the best X570 mobo and dont want to cheap out on the mobo so was leaning towards that gigabyte mobo
yo jake
also it has 3 m.2 slots
that corsair rmx 850
Or wait till zen 3 there may be an X670 Board
that aio is 2 much
i bought mine straight from corsair for the same price idk if that means its newer or not
Without a bios update for zen 3
just saw the (2018)
I know the aio is expensive lol but I saw my friends and I need it lol
love how it looks
@prisma stag yea not finalized on that psu but thats basically want I want to get so then at some point can go 3080
ok not that aio cntrl
also wanted fully modular
looks weird
83 cfm pretty good aio
its good at cooling tho
hey jake where do u plan on putting that 3 pack of fans u got?
Ye
yea I wouldnt get that aio tho weird brand
From the temp reviews
Meh aesthetics are cool and all
and @cloud oasis why are you still asking?
And also ^
we have been over this again and again
cntrl made so many friends lmfao
But sometimes performance is key
asking for what
cntrl just change ur discord name and ur picture
??
lololol
@cloud oasis everything.
@prisma stag was planning on keeping the preinstalled ones where they are and then mount the aio on top and replace the fans on it with coolermaster fans and have an exhaust fan in back
dud i didnt ask for anything but ok
@cloud oasis you are building later on in the year right?
This is like the 35th time for a build list
@prisma stag im waitin on zen 3 to see if zen 2 prices go down and if zen 3 was worth it
yes, please remind me again, what time at the end of the year are you building?
Like december-ish most
yes
Zen 3 will be 7nm+ so it may bring some performance improvement
come back when you are about 1 week away from buying parts
nothing matters until then
Ok
And with that maybe X670/B650 boards : D
ik
@whole stag which wont matter one single bit to the consumers
see you in about 2-3 years
:)
hey naed
Alright
yes @prisma stag ?
im trying to pick out cpu cooler but im having trouble trying to make sure itll have room
check your z height clearance on the case site
what's the case you got
td500
td500 fits a lot of coolers
this line right here is the only thing that trips me up
(44mm max motherboard component height)
now, go to the manufacturers site
what does that mean
any specific cpu coolers you're looking at?
and i have the msi mpg x570 gaming pro carbon wifi atx am4 motherboard
where did you find the 44mm max comment @prisma stag ?
which is 12inch by 9.7in
naed
i found it on case specs
Cooling System
Fan Options
Front: 3 x 120mm (3 x 120mm ARGB fans Pre-installed) or 2 x 140mm fan
Top: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fan
Rear: 1 x 120mm fan
Radiator Options
Front: 120 / 140 / 240 / 280 / 360mm
Top: 120 / 240 / 360mm (44mm max motherboard component height)
Rear: 120mm
its the overhang of the AIO radiator in regards to the mainboard
where do you plan to place the radiator?
i was jsut scared i had to stack fans and radiator and fans are 25mm combining to 52mm
on top with fans stacked
is the plan
Dimensions & Weight
Max GPU Length 410mm
Max CPU Cooler Height 165mm
also just found this on the same page of my case specs
and neither of those are relevant
what you are looking for is basically the "thickness of the mainboard
o ok one second i can find that
I just put together my first build and i used a rx570 I dont think it was the right choice but im not 100% any thoughts
crap i dont think my motherboard specs show thickness
i might have to pick a different motherboard to be safe
@prisma stag google something close to this
case name, radiator size
and look at some of the builds
good idea, should i add motherboard?
but from listening to what u said, i feel like the cpu cooler will be kind of infront of the motherboard not directly on top, thats why u dont want motherboard components sticking out, is that right?
You can build a pc without a GPU right
No
yes
@prisma stag
Unless the cpu has integrated graphics
@cloud oasis you dont need a gpu at all on a system.
@prisma stag see the green markings?
that is the "thickness" (space) that the AIO radiator has to fit into
ooooo ok
so
instead of making the case "taller"
they are going down "over" the mainboard
which is perfectly fine
like overhanging infront of the motherboard
infront of the green of that
BUT its not blocking it completely
and again. that is perfectly fine
BUT if the part that says "carbon" was 10cm tall?
no, it should not reach that far down
but, as i said, search for case name and radiator size
to give you some idea about how it looks :)
yea i googled
no one done it yet
im gonna order it
and if it dont work ill just ebay it haha
at this point im tired of worrying about it
lol
so, what you are saying is that there is NO ONE that has a radiator in your size in that case?
now, please look at what i asked you to search :)
should i combine the fans and the radiator in the size i search
no
25mm fans 27mm radiator
well after reading all that
i can go up a little
i have parts but can someone show me what i need to change
my budget is 600
ooo i got idea
i wonder if i put all this in pcpartpicker
if the compatibiltychecker will let me know if itll fight
fit*
its a number it cannot check
it does not know things that are not told to it
@prisma stag see above :)

Know your motherboard's processor socket type, you will know which cooler to buy.
is that accurate?
yes, but not related to your question.
dang dude
i have parts but can someone show me what i need to change
my budget is 600
if you have a pcpp list, then yes @mighty grove
dude why this gotta be so hard lmfao
?
trying to find out if a cpu cooler will fit in my build
just get a case that is actually not being silly with its top radiator placement @prisma stag
because that is 1 part of the problem
i already have the td500 sitting on my bed =[
the other is that msi does not give that number
if you can, go for cl14 memory @mighty grove
oaky
also, what price are you actually seeing for that HDD?
CL14 @mighty grove :)
ok
wahts the difference
you had 600 as top budget right?
yeah
is there any pressing need for that HDD right now?
umm idk
this is my first pc
i want to make sure i cant run well
thats rlly all want
okay, give me a couple of minutes :)
oaky ty
Can I put this ssd in an ASrock b450m pro4 mobo?
@fair thistle technically yes
it would work perfectly fine right?
nice pfp ra[tor
@foggy hazel the ssd would work perfectly fine right? or should i find another one?
Thx
@foggy hazel 1.6mm
@mighty grove conclusion: ram is too expensive at the moment, so stick with what you had on the list. however, ditch the hdd and ssd you had, and use the one i have here
@prisma stag thats "thickness"
@fair thistle if you can, something like the one i linked in the above build list is an option. BUT the one you have will work.
thank you
so what does that mean
but i didnt type my specific board
i strictly searched io shield height
that is a ATX/mATX/Itx spec

so u think im good?
hence why, IF you are not willing to risk having to send it back, you have to ask them about it
so i should take a chance
only person that can decide that is you
How long have you had it for
my case arrived today
Ok so I guess you could return it
case is technically okay
see what i said above
i am talking about the cooler OR the case
Air for the win
which is also a good deal cheaper
wait i dont need a cpu cooler?
air = air cooler
i planned on over clocking thats why i thought i needed a cpu cooler
read again :)
r u saying air coolers are thinner than water coolers?
ooo i get it
air coolers dont have radiators?
i am saying, the occupy a different "space"
radiators are exclusive to liquid cooling @prisma stag
ok im done with this i think ill jsut use the stock cooler that come with my ryzen 7 3700x cause i still dont know if a watercooler will fit and rly dont know how to find out
cause
i check ram size
io shield size
motherboard thickenss
case specs
fan mm size
radiator mm size
should i get a wifi adapter or a wifi card. which one is more worth
you are making yourself panic right now @prisma stag
and im fking ppoped
breathe mate :)
a noctua u12s will solve it all for you
and save you a bunch of money at the same time.
then, and i repeat, IF you are willing to risk having to send it back, you can just order it and see if it fits or not
ok i think thats my final decision
im going to order it see if it fits
if it doesnt
you could just move it to the front
ill return it and use the stock one i got with the cpu or buy a noctua u12s
thats what im doing
and im sticking to it
no more research im fking geeked out over here
:)
you are very welcome :) best of luck @prisma stag
Does anyone have any good budget wifi cards
i need some help
Is Paul's hardware a good source? He just posted a build with many of the same parts I want but some are different so I want to see if I should go with his recommendations?
im trying to put together a parts list for about $800
Ok
id mainly use the pc for gaming and a little editing
@polar prism normally he has sensible choices
The biggest different he had between his list and mine was a b550 MB over an x570 like I am thinking
his (if you dont need any of the things the x570 offers) does make more economical sense most likely
Well I need wifi and I dont think the MSI Tomahawk B55o comes with it and that one is $180
Thats why Im not sure
iirc, it does not
naed
and 180 for a b550 is just silly
i just watched a video with a build VERY similar to mine and his cooler fit
only difference was the motherboard
he had the bf550
b550
and i got x570
check the top edge of the mainboard @prisma stag
you see any physical HEIGHT differences?
Yeah, Im thinking about going with the MSI MPG x570 over the aurus but im not sure
then there you have your answer @prisma stag :)
they both got those big things poking out at top left
Aorus* whoops. I dont know much of the difference between the gigabyte and MSI boards
@polar prism focus on what the boards actually give you
NOT what the brand or model is
Im honestly not sure what is better when it comes to motherboard features. I know about CPUs and GPUs but not that
fx? do you want X number of USB3.1 ports?
etc etc
those are the things that will actually matter to you in the daily use of the board
Ohhh okay thank you. Im not that needy when it comes to those but that helps a lot. Thank you!
@polar prism you are very welcome :)

@polar python help?
have patience. When people have the time and desire to answer, they will
@foggy hazel
aye aye
best of luck :)
figure out what fan model you have in the front, then figure out what size fits in the back
and then combine those two
ooo the front fans have to be same model as rear?
should i match my td500 front cooler master fans or should i match my corsair cpu cooler fans
you could take a pink fan with glitter for all it matters
err
i think ill go corsair
will this work for a rear fan?
or is that fan to be added to a cpu cooler idk
is your backfan a 120mm @prisma stag?
then yes, that works
naed
970evo or 970evo plus
only difference i know is that one says plus lmfao
both are 1tb
nevermind 970evo plus on backkorder
nty
970 evo high price
@prisma stag I say a MP34 :P
already ordered haha
im too fast with the buy button
so i havent fully added my entire build price yet
but ive been putting the price of each item in notepad
ick
