But I agree with Mr1111, why not get a 10th generation instead of a 9th generation? Future proof since intel stopped using lga-1151 socket and is now doing lga-1200 socket

It's at a point where userbenchmark is banned in r/Intel and a bot tells you to not use it in r/AMD. Anyways, here's a comparison by passmark.
