I just took out my old CPU MB and RAM. Then i installed a new one of each. I try to turn on my computer and it comes on. The fans and lights inside start to work. But the new mother board wont recognize my monitor or GPU (the GPU has lights on the side that dont even come on now). also the power button only works to turn it on and no lights indicating power come on at the top either.

I’m having an issue with my build and I didn’t see any troubleshooting chat so I thought this might be best. The problem has become a little more complicated. Essentially, I can literally throw my PC out the window while in the bios and it still runs fine. However, as soon as I boot windows, if I bump my PC, it completely dies on me. I thought maybe my storage hard drive (not my boot SSD) was the issue, so I unplugged the sata cable and rebooted, but that did nothing. What do you guys think the issue might be? My boot SSD?

@stoic island I don’t think there’s a motherboard shorting issue because that would affect my BIOS too. RAM, CPU, and GPU would also affect the bios and cause it to crash and shaking the PC around while in the BIOS seems to be fine. I feel like the issue has to be the hard drives unless I missing something.
