The power plugs are designed to only fit in the places their supposed to go, so it's pretty easy. The big one goes in the big hole, the little one goes in the little hole :)

depends on your end goals, if that were my build depending on age I would bump up the PSU a tiny bit to ensure room for expandability, then I would (once prices start coming back down and things start calming down and getting back to normal) consider going with a Ryzen build for better upgradeability down the line, but you look to have a good gaming rig with what you got listed so I wouldn't really worry much unless your having issues with it...

if you want to run fans and stuff too, you probably want to get a controller to plug everything into, and then run that to the addressable header on the motherboard, which the MSI software will control
and the GPU should still work with the MSI software as well
most of those things are cross-compatible
