@brisk parcel did you read the article? Everything was basically it was a deva with more bass (which is because the pads being changed) and that is what he used to conclude it must be different
Distortion values were different likely due to run to run variance or even pad seal after changing pads but the margin and shape was pretty akin
Basically the wrong conclusion off the wrong details from a forum member

okay, so, yes I read the article. the pads being changed would obviously contribute to the sound already being messed with. there's no denying that. I believe in run to run variance but not necessarily to that extent, and I'm very certain that pad seal was just fine if they're mounted the same if not a similar way. I still don't rule it out, but I have no way to tell for myself
so unless I have a deva to directly compare it to, I have no reason to believe otherwise. that doesn't mean I won't, but from that article, it looks different enough to me. maybe not to be completely different, but still different
