im not gonna ruin a kahoot game, ima jus spam bots into the game
exactly lol
im not gonna ruin a kahoot game, ima jus spam bots into the game
@timber ridge
thats the point of bots
hmm
oh god he didnt get the sarcasm
thats lame
and then they randomized or not pick a option
I forgot he's literally 13
LMAO
bruh
i am 13
@west hornet you can get a karina for 120$
amazing keyboad
10/10 would totally recommend
whats a karina
yes
its a keeb
not a kahoot bot
shoo
35 percent keyboard
wonder how that sounds
da hell
does that even have enough key for english, it look smol haha
probs
it has 27
not including what im expecting to be mods
the enlish alphabet have 26 letters
sure
this is an interesting prebuilt https://epomaker.com/collections/all/products/ajazz-k620t?variant=31806491754569
wat???
and also if you're buying a prebuild 60% keyboard 75% of the time it's going to someone who wants to play fortnite with it because they "need more mouse room"
it has the knob n stuff
yup
apparently ther is a hotswap version
artisan
Probs
its an aesthetic thingy
collectors stuff
unless youre insane and have a lot of money
bruh
you can have full artisan keeb
ive seen it
but its more of a flex thing
breake my kahoot
its on display
unless u go to keycon every year and you got morer money than jeff bezos
jesus
nobody cares
man
about you kahoot bot
ae dcky keycaps expensive?
i read a reddit saying its hotswap but i dont think the one i linked is
but i would assume gateron
ill check
oof
yall are talking about 35s i know somebody who uses this
YO IT LOOKS LIKE A BUTTERFLY
LOL
but what is that typing angle
thats like
ortholinear on crack

theyre custom switches from ajazz
i dont like like keeb people
who like linears
or 40s
I MEAN ORTHOLINEAR
DONT HURT ME
ortholinear is fine
not much on it
the keeb is fine
but ive had people agressively suggest me smaller boards
also nachos did u see the sat75 clone
bruh leo
i was mistaking that clone for this keeb this entire time
its similar jus no knob
just an interest check for now
but it says its only gonna get 100 sells
so
it do look pretty
what are some good keyboards?
@normal barn possibly
I know fedex ships as late as like 8
And they left at 9:30, place is only 5 hrs 42 mins away
what are some good keyboards?
@gentle mica depends
@brisk parcel you'll get yours before i do
cholax annoying tf outta everyone you love to see it
@tacit wing we still gotta compare model numbers
Would be mega pog if they were right next to each other

@tight pulsar what cable do u use for ur keeb
I think I might get a different one that the one im using rn
uh some random one of ebay
me have coilies
its easy to go black
im tempted to get a coiled cable
it won't clash with any keycap set
ill pick one up after switches and keycaps
I only got a coiled cable after I got a decent keeb
ya
Like I got one for my first 200+ dollar keeb
not putting a coiled cable on a ducky or some lmao
i've had like 2 sub 200$ builds
pics?
and I just used some anker charging cable
DOloras is getting gasket mount
65% hotswap
im just gonna grab a white uncoiled one or have somebody ik help me make one
I have no clue how to make one
how much is the kit ?
@grim grotto yes
LOL
speaking of the devil

lmao
oh dear
well the biggest difference between those two are closed vs. open so you should decide your preference on that first
im not sure which I prefer, but all im really gonna be using them for is gaming and light music
also I dont mind the $10 difference
probably close back imo
i have a preference for open backs for music consumption and gaming and closed backs towards for mixing and analytical stuff like editing
I like light weight and low clamp force if that helps
ok
google says the dt770's are lighter
doesnt the 770 have more of a v shape sound ?
I think something like that, bassy and sharp highs
close back gives a better bass response or whatever imo
like the impact or whatever feeling
if soundstage and imaging arent important to you go with closed
but its pretty important for gaming imo
dino we have opposite opinions lol
well
i rather have open back while mxing music
i like hearing footsteps well
i find that mixing with opens give me more reverb than i actually do because of the soundstaging
so that i prefer closed
to much deciding im just gonna go with these,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H6GUCCQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A20FYDXEANLXNA&psc=1
i think close back is nicer for gaming
better low ends
itll feel a bit more emmersive imo
ok
i like brighter highs for gaming
i prefer open for long time comfort and NOT being isolated from surroundings
it makes them footsteps sing
any second now
fair enough
well now I cant decide again
ppl in this server are a bit more forgiving
the bose quietcomfort gaming headset is tempting
better low end gives me more of a "theatrical" sound on my ears
i wanted the headphones alone before hand but with the addition of a mic n stuff
kinda gg ngl
explosions rocking in your ear are more nutty
but i wouldnt want that for gaming bc its more of a distraction for me
cold war is gonna be the first cod ima buy since ghost
did u play the beta
oh no nead enetered the chat
not yet
naed is cool
he has a lot of ppl who take him wrong tho
and refuse to learn how he is
yeah I played the beta before when you could, (you cant play the game until release now) and I liked it enough to preorder the game
facts over fiction @timber ridge :)
what was it, fallout 76?
fallout 76?
worst
LOOL
bruh
well, considering you talking about it like that. You clearly DO want to mention it
I love how the only other characters in that game were those stupid robots that didnt move
so what was it
ok so do you think 770's or the fidelio's for gaming
@grim grotto 770s are terrible for anything but especially gaming
Reason: Bad word usage
so I should go with these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H6GUCCQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A20FYDXEANLXNA&psc=1
Yes
if soundstage and imaging arent important to you go with closed
@tacit wing closed also have less bass extension and tend to be slower in speed
@grim grotto get a ur40
If your goal is cheap gaming headset
Also anyone who says the 770 are great for mixing and as monitors is just wrong
speak of the devil
That is the farthest you can possibly get from flat or even acceptable
@thick plank please read what people are actually saying.
now hes stuck with cholax and cntrl
id want m50x if i want FLAT af
people are saying things like: "i prefer X"
Hmmmm
and just like that, dont know what to get anymore
you seem to prefer to not read what is written. That is your choice.
Peaky highs, huge drop-off in 4khz, bass with both high and low spikes resulting in just a sound suddenly going from loud to quiet off a slight frequency shift
I might personally find that to be a bit of a silly choice. But you are free to do so.
And bumpy mids which ruins vocals
any of those innate characteristics of a headphone wouldn't be a deal breaker for gaming. again, audio for gaming is no tall order
if it was, gaming headsets would be all hifi cans
@tacit wing for gaming the lack of any real sound stage or imaging is a deal breaker
Especially at the price
If the 770 were like $10 then I would almost be able to recommend them
Not even for sou days quality
But for build quality
for your use.
again. the whole "declaring" is not helping anyone.
For any goal
Like give me a use the 770 is good for other than people with a chronic fear of some sound playing at 4khz in their music
if a game has decent sound any cans can image it well. NRG_aceu plays professionally with Apple Earpods for Christ sake. again, audio for gaming is no tall order
Like maybe if Satan is chanting at 4khz pitches in your music then sure
if you want something that sounds better than 99.99999% of "gaming" headsets. 770 are a choice.
Except it is the only audiophile headset I would say literally gaming headphones beat in basically anything
and remember @thick plank this is not a audiophile debate. Its a headphone debate
A sades will have better characteristics in most categories for christ sake
you will be happy with either choice. better than whatever you have now @grim grotto
And this is all pretending other hifi companies don't exist
And dont make budget headphones
i just dont ever recommend anything that i have not personally used at least once.
and that is not a secret
and i say that honestly and openly when talking about it
Then take this from someone who has used a lot of headphones. Not much is worse than the 770 in any category and nothing is as all around bad
And I dont mean for the price
The price just adds insult to injury
you will be happy with either choice. better than whatever you have now @grim grotto
@tacit wing
i've got ath-m30x's
general chat vibes
try a pair of opens
yeah and its not like im gonna care about sound leaking, im only gonna be using them in my room for my computer
Technically the same driver but one is over ear
fortnut are you a Koss rep?
lol
and just to even the "playing field" a bit @thick plank this is how i would normally recommend anyone get a pair of headphones: Go to your local stores, plan to spend at least 10 hours total on trying on and listening to different headphones.
After you are done with that. You have a small idea about what you might potentially like.
@tacit wing tbh I didn't like coss until u started looking into their stuff
Like I said, I got the 95x with the plan to shelf it just for looks
just curious if you would recommend any cans that arent Koss at all. because as far as ive seen all the reccs you list are all Koss
But kept it as my main headset cause it just did everything I wanted perfectly other than detail where the energizer held it back
and with that experience as a baseline, you can start to engage in debate about it.
And after modding the energizer it does that well too
i got me some Porta Pros for 18 dollars pog
i cant get over the look of them
and as i said yesterday. I value having actual debate
theyare ugly but theyre like the pretty-ugly
Koss mostly has pretty bad products tbh but their estats and electret headsets are great and so are the porta pro based headsets
so if people in general could stick to debating instead of declaring.
The community at large would benefit from more people engaging with higher end (compared to what they might previously have had experience with) headphones.
Thing is those are such good value that they leave koss as a king for a lot of categories and uses for a huge portion of the market
Yaxi pads on the Porta Pros worth an upgrade ?
the more i look at them the better they look lol
INTEREST CHECK FOR THE HB60%
dm for link
wait no
just tag me for the link
"storm trooper white"
Some people add yaxi pads for soundstage
Koss does have really great budget options like their porta pros, ksc75, and kph30i, ye they kinda look like “janitor headphones” but they perform
on-ear + opens + yaxi pads already sounds insane for soundstage
@tacit wing when u got them
where too
i want hem
dont i got it a
so I should go with these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H6GUCCQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A20FYDXEANLXNA&psc=1
@grim grottodon that get it i got this and refunded really poor audio and insanely too too much bass
wait are u serious
haha reallllll funnyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
now hes stuck with cholax and cntrl
@timber ridge
@grim grotto ye i got it and regret it instaly
mic not that good eiter
i upgraded to razer blackshark v2x
bit better but i didn have dno or sennheiser
and now im waiting for black friday deals
to get the 38x
@grim grotto ye if u really want one of those gamng headset wiht mic included
get liek pc38x
or hd58x jubilee
if ur going the the 160-170 price range
Looking for a desk, around 40ins, adjustable to stand or sit preference, and an office chair. Around $100 for each if possible
@normal barn no, I just want some nice headphones to use for gaming around $150, I was joking about the other headset
also ikea has good tables
@grim grotto ye go get teh pc38x
or the hd58x jubilee
tho if u get the 38x
no need for a amp or anything tho it is recommended
@tacit wing go
yo*
do u need a amo fir hd58x
amp*
for*
If you buy a "gaming desk" im going to break your kneecaps
excpet im not but im just gonna make fun of you
I have less of an issue with gaming chais
eh
its something that could actually help you
for lumar support and stuff
but gaming desks?????
?!?!?!?@#?!@?#!?@$(!#&(
i can see the appeal for gaming chairs bc some people actually wants something hard as a rock to sit on
yeah
my friend has a gaming chair and it hurts his back
then your friend got a bad chair
or he has bad posture
becauaes basically any chair can be a good cahir if you have good posture
posture i think is the greatest factor in ergonomics
but if you're smashin out back into your chair
doesnt matter if u got a herman miller but u got xQc posture
cuz I don't live near an ikea?
of corse its gonna be expensive
its a desk
then dont order it off ikea
?????????????
Go to literally any store that sell furnatue
$200 for an $80 desk? I'll just go to Amazon lmao
have you tried to ship a desk
ikea doesnt even ship to my address and the nearest one is like 40 min away
i wonder why they dont
Amazon ships desks for free lmao
ikea isnt the worlds biggest company
o i mean
do you really expect them to have good shipping
that's why I said
to go to ikea
not to order one
Ah
Yeah I was gonna go with ikea till I saw the shipping, looking at a desk and chair on Amazon rn
idk if the dimensions are for you but personally even my 48x25 tabletop is a bit claustrophobic
might wanna get something bigger
personally for me
I dont really have room, anything bigger and I can't out my monitor/32ish inch TV under my wall mounted tv, so I would still only have 40ish inches of usable space for monitors
Plus I havent out up my floating shelf and wall mounted soundbar yet, so there's gonna be very little space for anything under if my desk was that long
uhhhhhh
The best budget desk imo is the lifetime desks

bruh
that moment when your headphones take all day to go to WV which is only a 2 hour difference
NJ to WV
probably cause they gotta ship your stupid cans too @tacit wing

lmao
what is the best mouse for a regular sized hand
House pog
i have a g502 hero and im getting it replaced. my options are another g502 or a g pro (the wired version). What should I do? im used to the heavy nature of the g502 and all the buttons but im considering switching to lightweight
g305
is that literally a wireless version of the g pro
o i was gonna get the wired version
g305 wireless is good
its heavier and smaller?
o i see
its basically a gpw
honestly i think ill go with the wired version its lighter plus i have a mouse bungee
also its prob out of budget
im getting my g502 rmaed for the second time so im stuck wiht that budget
double click issues?
yup
i bought it in feb and got it replaced a few months ago for scroll whell issues
oof
now its double click
i have a g502 and a viper mini
once you go lightweight you wont be able to game on a heavy mouse again
and when i called they told me the g502 hero se and g502 are structurally different
whats your mouse budget ?
i was like ??? why r they showing up as the same
$50
i think
ya
also only logi cuz they r the ones replacing
o
ye
rip
ik i wanted to go with a dif brand but o well
how light can i get the 305 to be?
if it can be like 90 g then maybe ill try and see
im not sure, i can check
o ty
apparently you can get it down to 83g with a AAA battery
wow
if you do extreme modding and 3d print basically everything you can get it 67g
wow
wait how do u replace the AA with a AAA
is that safe? it wont mess it up?
im not too sure about that
and if you use a lithium battery over alkaline youll save some weight
not much but still some
k
there is Double A to Triple A battery converter
you can also go Double A lithium
the tinfoil mod is a bit janky for me
ultimate weight reduction
tin foil works well
finally got the tracking # for my switch opener and some bobas
where'd you get your switch openier
from a friend who has a few laying around and can just 3d print more same with the switches, hes sending them over for free
lcuky
just find somebody or a library with a 3d printer the files are available
do you know how durable plastic ones are
and why are libraries always the place that has 3d printers
bc libraries get money for those kind of things and theyre durable enough for p much every switch u wanna open
probably cause they gotta ship your stupid cans too @tacit wing
@brisk parcel bruh mine is still in Jersey wtf
wait it just left at noon today nvm
@brisk parcel you will get yours first 100% since you are closer to Jersey than i am
@queen sigil because a 3d printer is a excellent tool to encourage learning/exploration around
ok
3d printers are awesome to learn, i still have to figure out how to fix mine lol
they take time
yeah i was trying to figure out how to word what naed kinda said but i didnt really know what to say but that too
i wanna get some headphone stands or hangers 3d printed
do u need a amo fir hd58x
@normal barn no but you just shouldn't get that headset

It is super non detailed and has a slow driver for the price along with having a tiny sound stage and imaging without the good mid accuracybof say a 6xx or comfort
i will be surprised if Cholax gets*** any*** headphones/headset
It is gonna be the bottleneck to your onboard audio
Anything else in that range it will be the other way around
Unless your onboard audio has a really good opamp
i will be surprised if Cholax gets*** any*** headphones/headset
@tacit wing he did ask me for keyboard suggestions and complete ignored all of the suggestions

hey some people can dream
i dream he will finally pick something
life of a 13 year old
they got big budgets for 13 yr olds
I mean maybe his parects just like to buy him really nice things
or he just wants to know random things about products he cant afford
asks me for spec him a 1k keyboard
can't solder
literally like kids at the candy shop
entry level budget cans
wow i am a 13 year old and I would like to have that
I think it was also him who kept insissting that a keyboard he showed me was a 70%
when i was 13 i didnt care enough about tech in general tbh
i just played alot of games
at 13 I got into PC gaming and just used my brother's stuff
as I got older I started to ditch "gaming" peripherals
except for my mouse
the last peice of gaming periheral that's called a gaming ______________ is my headset
besides my mouse
sad
i still have a "gaming" pre-built keeb
not looking forward to swapping psu tho
i was too lazy to swap in my rm850x
and its been sitting behind me for like over a month
lance whaling
commas op
💯

a GPU upgrade is pretty pointless in my case since... i dont play a whole lot thats demanding
all my money goes to peripherals pretty much
well not all but most
i wanted to get a 3080
bc i dont wanna worry about upgrading in the next like 4 years
what do u do with ur computer
game, edit, music and school
if i got a 3080 i prob wouldnt upgrade for like 4 years
e
yeye
a lot of wants tbh, but the 3070 is still more than enough
so im cool with it, jus not as future proof as the 3080
1st world probnlems
im not rich by any means lol
@timber ridge stop the 🧢
i been living the budget life til now
hmmmm
need a decent keyboad needs to be budget
im using office keyboard rn lmao
must hv rgb
@analog drift
awnswer above
and he went do not disturb

how u bouta ask for help and then not awnswer any questions
very epic
consider that a lot of servers have a fair wait time for actual answers. so the behaviour makes sense @queen sigil
true
but i responded like less than a minute after he asked
he just had to wait like 30seconds lol
eh, consider him perhaps going into a game and putting discord on dnd for that
fair enough
many valid reasons for him to do that
define budget
@timber ridge sry i was in class
im looking for at max a 100$
ik not much
but i put most of the money in the rel build
left next to nothing for peripherals and stuff
100 is plenty enough
and do you need a fullsize
whats the difference
if you wanna save
gk61
im fine with those not being there or being there
yea then gk61
gk61-64
uhh
idk how expensive epomaker is
if its cheap get that
maybe keychron
these are all keyboards that can be upgraded pretty easy
epomaker is like anywhere between 60ish to 90
depending if you get optical or norm switches
again whats the diff?
dont get optical
What switch type are you looking for
Clicky
Linear
Or tactile
idk what switches r
clickies have an audible and physical bump when you hit the actuation point
well when you bottom out yea
but tactiles and clicky make more sound from the bump and the click jackets the clicky ones have
For a budget keyboard yes
tbh, if you dont care much about mech keebs and want the most silent
you could go membrane
i nvr knew keyboards were so sophisticated
but i would not recommend
yeah keyboards is a large rabbit hole dont fall down it
its like a office keyboard lmao
to be honest I would try and find a switch tester for a couple bucks if you've never tried a mechanical keyboard
but then i would hv to buy switches
or look up gk61 and get anyone that has red switches tbh
that's what a switch tester is
you could get a gk64 but you might not like the short right shift
for that one, you can go with yellow
you'd probs want to know what each feels like
hmm true
he could go to a local retailer
oh i cant
Was about to ask if you lived in amerca
make sure you know what keyboard switch he has if you try his
If you have a standard office membrane rubber done keyboard chances are the closest thing to it is a brown
im getting more budget in a week or so
but it's still a big difference
100 is a good budget for a prebuilt
pre built keyboard?
yes
yes
yep
i nvr knew that
that's what happens in the rabbit hole
you start spending dumb amounts of money on keyboards
haha lol
wut
but i also need a mouse
i use logitech Y-sp29 since 2008
so maybe 50 for each?
who ping
still going strong baby
so 50 for mouse and 50 for keyboard
yeah you can get like a g305 for 50$
the mouse depends on what games/grip/hand size you are
budget mice are generally on the smaller side
have you used a mechanical keyboard before ?
have you used a mechanical keyboard before ?
@timber ridge nop
if ur board is hotswap u could springswap
my go-to reccs for budget mice is G203 and Viper Mini but they may be too small for some people
it is
is blue switch ok?
NO
but i think i might jus go with some gat yellows
ITS NOT
i find one in my local stor for $20
might try the new cap switches
BLUE SWITCH IS BANNED
blue switches are good if you are 12
clickies are lowkey satisfying tho
but i can swap few keys that i used with brown
its real but its just not that good
i wouldnt cheap out on a mouse
i use to
its on amazon 👉👈
youre just asking to get tilted mid game
and it makes a huge difference
same
they get the job done but there is a big difference
15 $
ahhh
Sus
no offense but i feel newegg is a little to costly for budget builders
the sensors on those will spin out at one point
I would try to stick to known companies for mice
tbh if youre budget is that low for a mouse, go red dragon
its the best thing youll get at that price
thatll last
red dragon is probs the best really budget brand
ok lemme check it
i will starve myself a little to get to a 50 dollar budget tbh
Pcpartpicker is for bugget
not supported in india
Not new egg
i checked
That's an sheep
sheep?
check amazon
oo ok
@analog drift G203, Rival 3, Viper Mini
they might be too small for you but atleast theyre reliable sensors
unlike alot of these cheap mice off amazon
ok lemme check them
they are very susceptible to spinning out
tilt slamming and flicking will probably stop tracking at one point
if he palm grips then those mice are not really the move
Rival 3 is ever so slightly bigger than the other 2
yes
but really mice optimized for palm are waaay over budget
in that case you need go go red dragon
@tight pulsar what happens when you lube a switch with dielectric grease
Unedited. Filmed with an iPhone X.
The comparison keyboard at the beginning of the video is a Discipline65 with Cherry MX Blue Switches.
Keycaps: GMK Oblivion v2
Switches: Gateron Inks
Lube: approximately 2kg of Krytox205g
The typing sound is extremely silent due to me usin...
i was searching that video up lmao
"Lube: approximately 2kg of Krytox205g"
My friend is getting me to build him a keyboard
instead of putting in the silent reds i ordered
ill just drown each switch in dielectric grease
basically the same experience
@analog drift i advice to not cheap out on the mouse. you will rage when the sensor trips on you
my red dragon mouse lasted about 2 1/2 years
My brother has been using a g305 for over 3 years before the scroll wheel broke
the red dragon sensor was toast, the scroll wheel didnt click, and the right click wouldnt hold
logitech QC is solid
Reason: Bad word usage
lol
the g305 lasted him 3 years and lasted me a year
my budget mouse lasted like 3 years or so before it got double click issues
pfft only lasted 5 years
still runs like its out of the box

i slapped some PTFE feet on it and its even better when i got it new
leo, i might try those gateron cap switches
ptfe op
leo, i might try those gateron cap switches
@timber ridge so arer they just like
what's the housings
and stem
just for old times sake i will bench my viper mini for tonight
oh so it gonna thock
congrats @timber ridge you made me do a double take
what
his last sentence
That's funny
im addicted to pom
@tacit wing jeez
Actually I take back my statement kf the dt770 being a headset that nothing else can do all around as bad as
Cause the jade 2 is a thing
Actually nm cause it atleast is fast in spite kf being one of the slowest estat headsets
So I guess even that isnt as bad
But it also cost a ton
Lol
crazy how much more expensive inks are compared to everything else gateron has
milkys are super cheap too

Stewie would dislike that
ahaha its all preference
different hands like different shapes
very heated night here in the US boys
stuff going down so I'm pretty awake lmao
but I also gotta sleep
lmao
razer bad
so Imma sleep, g'night all
razer poo poo
depending on the results
Razer mice is good
excited to try my new cans soon
things can go very bad
yea
sleep well @brisk parcel
why thank you kind sir
i jus hope they dont loot the ups that has my package
as a heads up, I should be good on thursday to chat if you can
if they loot, I am PERSONALLY going to research the place my cans got taken from
and FIND who did it
and take what is rightfully mine
lmao
wait I just realized
i feel ya
I forgot to get teflon grearse
they looted delivery trucks last time
im debating if i should buy lube for the switches if i get them
i dont think theyll need films
ez buy tangies and creams and use cream stems in tangies
ez totally cheap
best switch
nah gazzew makes the best silents on the market he works with outemu
hey
anykeyboard can be a silent keyboard
if you take out the stems and springs
checkmate
just don't touch the keyboard and it's silent 🧠
also if you use enough lube
just don't touch the keyboard and it's silent 🧠
@cursive marsh you genius
know any good budget keycap sets
