Big improvement over apple earbuds
Anything is lol
i beg to differ on that @hazy fiber
The apple hurt my ears, I thought I was tearing up
i think just about all stock android earbuds would like a word with you :P
And ye it can be a lot worse lol, I mean the apple cheap anyway
I never said they were good, but even some $15 Skullcandy ones are significantly better
Oh that remind me my dad use speaker for phone sometimes and it pain me, the sound is bad sure but there is also a rattling as if something is hitting the driver
If they came with your phone they likely aren't great lol
i havent used any stock phone earphones bc the last two phones i got were refurbished that didn't came with anything
i actually cant remember the last time i put on some in-ears
Last week
I used to use skullcandy everything. Then I got into Shure
1more quads, still super good after 2 years, even though I love my 58Xs the 1mores always have a place in my heart as my first real piece of audiophile gear
My first were the 535s, but I use them with bluetooth...
So I'm gonna keep it simple... one pair of Sony WHXM4, one truly wireless, one 6XX 🙂
True lol
I do encourage you to give the 1more quads a try sometime, they're still pretty interesting
not a bad plan man
if you ever need any recommendations just ask, part of drowning away the pain is filling the void with the passion and love I have for other things and people ❤️
Can anybody here help me with some audio stuff?
Can anybody here help me with some audio stuff?
@jade laurel @brisk parcel
@jade laurel I'm in a rocket league tourney atm, but in a few here I should be good, maybe an hour max?
but go ahead ask your questions and stiff
stuff*
i cant decide if buying a schiit stack (Magni 3+, and Modi 3) is worth the upgrade from just having my gaming headset (cloud flight) . Is the upgrade of adding a dac/amp that big of a difference?
np answer whenever you can just ping me
i appreciate the help though
arent the cloud flights wireless?
yes they are
i would be buying a hd 58x, 6xx or Dan Clark Aeon open x to pair with the stack
btw*
oooo nice
i pulled the trigger on the 58x the other day
and i have a budget interface, i was told it would be adequate enough to drive 150 ohms
but the 6xx is kinda demanding. no problem for the Schiit Stack though
i have the website open right now with info filled out, last step to click checkout but i just cant decide if getting a dac/amp is worth and if the 58x vs the 6xx is also worth?
and then even the aeon open flow vs whichever is better with the 6xx, 58x
im unfortunately going down a rabbit hole with audio
so i need help lol
you'd definitely want a dac+amp to get the most out of these cans for sure
granted the 58x is easy to drive, you can probably get away with onboard audio in your mobo but youre for sure gonna get alot of interference
not recommended
if you go 6xx, a dac+amp is a must. i think those have an impedance of 300 ohms
is the audio quality a big difference from my cheap wireless flights though?
and can a noobie like me tell that difference?
the transition from closed to open-backs, its night and day
well idk what the Flights sounds like but i can tell you that i used to use gaming headsets, and then i bought a closed back M40X. never bought a gaming headset since
also having a dedicated dac+amp outside your system instead of using the onboard audio on your mobo. massive difference
if you ever need any recommendations just ask, part of drowning away the pain is filling the void with the passion and love I have for other things and people ❤️
@brisk parcel ay, spot on, depression gang. Will do :)
hey is the razer viper ultimate worth it
Is there any comfy headphones with surround sound
@last plinth surround sound in headphones won't do much for you. stereo will always be the way to go. if you want a wide sound-stage that kind of mimics surround sound look into open-back headphones
hey is the razer viper ultimate worth it
@copper dock if wireless is like your very first priority it is very worth it. its arguably the only mouse that holds a candle to the G Pro Wireless
although ive seen some folks on here having charging issues with the dock
also the shape of the Viper is very biased towards fingertip grip. it has barely a hump for claw grip users
@tacit wing Imma be playing fps and sound really matters
@tacit wing Imma be playing fps and sound really matters
@last plinth i play CSGO and i main a set of headphones or set an EQ that emphasize treble for footsteps
hmm
but in terms of directional sound, surround-sound in headphones are mostly marketing BS. surround sound are mostly used in living room theater setups
is there really no 5.1 surround sound headphones that are comfy
I want directional sound
you will have directional sound in any stereo headphones that arent surround-sound lol
Really
lol
i mean i guess thats ur answer
G pro x?
but pls be aware of sponsored streamers
but given that you are a Shroud fan youd be very happy with your purchase
no ik shrouds sponsored
But he uses it alot
and its like
trusted
but i dont wanna spend 200$
lmao influencers will use whatever they are sponsored with it doesnt matter
Shroud used the Cloud Flights when he was still in C9
doesnt mean its the best headphone you can get
i promise you, you dont need surround sound
but the Cloud Alpha S is a choice if you insist
ok
i promise you its marketing mumbo jumbo, surround sound is useless when its limited to two drivers in both ears lol
surround sound is mostly used in settings where there are multiple drivers/speakers firing at you from different angles. just like in the movie theater or home theater set-up
but in a headphone scenario, where theres only two drivers firing to both of your ears, its not a very viable application

and then download dolby atmos
if i need fit
For surround sound
saved
u think its good
yes. thats like the perfect starter cans for open-back
Is there a better one
u will notice a massive difference compared to what youre using now if ur using closed
well yeah there are better ones but i think its best to start off with that for now
also do u have a headphone amp?
what are your headphones currently?
how is it connected to your rig?
if you have a little bit of money to burn id suggest investing in a dac+amp to pair with your SHP9500, but those are relatively easy to drive so you should have no problems hooking those up to ur system like you did with your current headphones
https://youtu.be/2RL-IumWJK8 heres an easy to understand video

yes your fine with onboard audio on your mobo
okie
but you may find some interference. if you cant tell on your current headphones right now then i doubt that youll find any
of what?
are your audio drivers updated?
that is most likely interferance but it could be just a sh**ty mic as well
yea ik
do u need one?
is it like a USB mic?
https://www.elgato.com/en/wave-1
https://www.amazon.com/Microphone-TONOR-Adjustable-Suspension-T20/dp/B082W4B7SX/
pog
its good?
do u already have one or planning to buy one
yes ive heard nothing but great reviews
does elgato sell mic arms for the Waves?
heres my current setup. M40x and a budget Neewer Condenser hooked up to a Behringer UM2
that little black box is an audio interface that has a built in dac+amp
i heavily recommend something like that to pair with your SHP900
granted, its not required to power it but it can reduce interferance
hmmmmmmmmmm
also you can do an XLR mic setup instead of USB
if youre for sure getting that Elgato mic then an audio interface really isnt for you
i think i get m40x
because its USB
Elgato Wave sounds good
sounded like poop sometimes
lol
like it would go ear explosion
if you are getting an M40x i suggest changing out the earpads because the stock ones are not very good
but since you want that "surround-sound" feel, id say just stick with the Phillips
those are open backs
wider sound stage
ok
now
I just want it to sound relatively good
the mic
Like
Not extremely bad
Also imma be streaming aswell
Does xlr sound the same as elgaro
yes
very worth it so you can drive high impedance cans
did u even watch the video i sent you lol
Yea
Lowk too sleeper tho
i jjst watched the dac and amp meaning

Which one do i get
u have the attention span of a housefly
look man to make things simpler for you just get an elgato wave and a hyperx cloud alpha
why not
listen to the video he explains things better than i do
but for now get the Philips and the Elgato
ahhh i personally dont know any good ones ive only used audio interfaces
Amazon.com: Micca OriGen G2 High Resolution USB DAC and Preamplifier - 24-Bit/192kHz PCM: Home Audio & Theater
Zeos recommends these
if youre going XLR i recommend the Focusrite Scarletts and the Evo 4
the Evo 4 is a really smart interface, perfect for beginners
for the mic, unless youre in a sound treated room, go Dynamic mics most definitely
is your room relatively silent?
i guess ur fine with either way it doesnt matter
go condenser or dynamic, but mostly leaning towards dynamic
recommend
Rode Podmic is nice, thats the mic i have my eyes on right now
or the Procaster but its $$$
Sale for 230 rn
thats not on sale thats standard price
msrp
go with the Podmic instead for starters
its less daunting
Me want good mic for stream

@tacit wing
I think i just get shp 9500
And wave 1
but recommend a good arm
and anything else i might need

nvm
ty dude

@jade laurel SO SORRY MAN
I wasn't done with my tourney til like 2:30 am
now about everything you said, for sure snag that schiit stack
and headphones-wise, are you looking to game out of them as well or mostly music?
@last plinth I can help you out too man if you'd like! I see you're looking at the SHP 9500s, very good choice! if you would like any other open-back recommendations just let me know ❤️ 😄
now @jade laurel in terms of the headphones, the aeon open 2s, the TWOS NOT THE FIRST ONE, are better than the 6XX in bass extension and highs, also on imaging. the 6XX are better than the aeos 2s in clarity, soundstage, and have an overall warmer feeling. the 58X are better than the aeon 2s in imaging, like these things are crazy good at it. soundstage is a tiny bit closer but much more accurate IMO
the aeon therefore is worse than either of the two, but better in some areas depending on what can you compare them to
tbh, go with the 6XX or 58X, and get yourself a nice tube amp instead of the schiit modi
like the vali 2, but personally for an extra $20 a littledot mk2 is WAY better
@hazy fiber take notes^
plus it has more tubes which means more cooler
I already ordered my magni and that dac I tagged you about, but I will keep that in mind for the future
I do liquidation lots in my free time and might get the chance to try some :)
ooooh
yes please do
tbh I think i'm gonna do that, get a modi 3 and the littledot mk 2 and then roll some new tubes
yeah for sure getting the modi 3, picking up the LD MK2, and probably some riverstone GE JAN 5654W driver tubes
might get some mullard CV401s though not sure, haven't found them yet
@brisk parcel imma be playing games so i want good sound quality im also gonna do some editing aswell
i want something close to surround sound
okay so like everyone else said, headphones with good imagine are better than any surround you can ever get from a crappy gaming "7.1" can
the SHP9500s are a great choice for that, they have fantastic imaging
is that for your mic?
ok yeah
should be fine
personally elgato is nice but a little overpriced
@brisk parcel I’m looking to mainly game but music on the side. I was talking about the Aeon open x not the twos
yall my UPS came in today pog
@jade laurel yeah I gotcha
was just throwing it in there for comparison
so tbh, aeon open x aren't worth it for the price
neither is the sound they produce
would 58x's be fine to drive without a amp?
Should i get a ups
ups surge protector
oh, no idea what that is
58x is a bit easier to drive with phone than something like 6xx
so they would be fine without a amp
nice schiit
Yeah it's a big schiit to
tube
nice i got the prostock ones on my M40x
I was looking at prostock but I don't like my ears touching the drivers and my ears touching the inside rim of the pad
Reason why I got the oval pads
i actually misordered i wanted the oval ones
Prostock is the closet to the original sound though. But oval does the highs better and low end
Atleast that's what I was told
i love my M40's but i dont think ill touch these cans again once my 58x comes in the mail
You still will
you reckon?
nice lil collection u got there
im afraid i already entered the blackhole of audiophile equipment when i hit the order button on the 58x's
are those bluetooth headphones?
Nah you definitely haven't 😂
And yes whxb900ns
I got the hardshell case off Amazon
If you want your Sennheisers to sign get a small tube amp
Shine*
what about a schiit stack?
the thing is i wanted to upgrade my XLR mic setup and upgrade my audio interface and hook my cans to that instead, but ive been told to get tube amps instead to make the most out of it
Yep
I'm done with getting new headphones for right now
Next pair are gonna be planar magnetics
what is the noticeable difference with tube amps?
They are warmer and give the mids a really loving warmth
There's other reasons too but all based off what tubes/amp you get
with the tube amps your pair with a Schiit Modi?
damnit this channel is a blackhole for money
Yep got the modi 3 and Valhalla 2 amp for $300 together
Get a usb mic
Was gonna get wave 1 but someome said its overpriced
It is
im XLR gang
Do you need all the fancy gimmick stuff or no
i think audio endgame for me is a procaster+cloudlifter to an Audient Evo4 and 58x with the tube schiit stack
@tacit wing
no no
need habit i guess so
just few hours i spend
at least u dont need the charge
thats why we buying mice
ok only 50$?
All for different purposes
@white talon Which gen are those?
Which ones?
The Sony's you sent a picture of
Gen 2. Not the brand new ones
Ah. Still solid, I didn't recognize the case so I figured it was older 🙂
I've only tried gen 3 & 4
I got the case off Amazon. Whxb900ns don't come with a hardshell
Oh, so they aren't WH1000XM2s?
@tacit wing
@primal ridge if u want a cleaner look, i suggest getting a mouse bungee for the clean look but not really necessary
Sony needs to put some variation in their design lol
@tacit wing nice pad tho 😄
Yeah, you can tell by the mic holes I guess
@tacit wing nice pad tho 😄
@primal ridge ty ❤️
lmk how u like ur DA after putting more hours into it
dude the size difference between the regular and the mini is soo huge lmao its almost laughable
i love it tho
but i used to main a 203 so small shapes feel right at home for me
rocketjumpninja POG
imagine i used all
Viper Gang
Razer is a cult 🙂
im excited for the new GPW tho
m2
Well, I have a solid audio setup for everything now :)
WH1000XM4s for daily driver headphones
Sennheiser 6XX w/ Magni Hershey + Massdrop x Grace Design Standard DAC for studio headphones
Dual JVC 3000 Series Powered Monitors for my office
Creative Outlier Gold Earbuds for sports, until Sony drops a new gen
look at the skates on this thing LMAO
im so glad Logi is finally making PTFE Virgins stock
about damn time
is this new gpw ?
yup according to Chinese leaks its like around 60g
i think viper ultimate have best shape of razer products
Viper is biased heavily towards fingertip
it barely has a hump at all for claw user
but i ftip so its perfect for me
i think u have very tiny fingers^^
let me measure mine
GPW is blue Viper Ult is green
20*9
i havent tried the GPW but i might go back to claw for old times sake
ok man the DA mini is probably too small for you :((
@white talon indeed we were talking sennheisers
I'm picking up a modi 3 and LD mk 2 with some CV4015/M8161 mullard tubes
already bought the tubes in case they got out of stock
waiting for prime day to see if I can get a deal on the DAC and AMP
I use 58Xs btw since I game as well
and a heavy amount
I use all my headphones for gaming 😂
but I did mod them, I removed the foam over the grille on the back of the earcups and I removed the paper over the driver
sound almost identical to 660S
and yeah I figured lmao
But I mean honestly I can't wait to get some planars though. And than a SS amp
foam is easy peasy
paper is just about removing stuff
look up a teardown and you can find how to do it
It's not hard
Is the model o wireless worth waiting for?
Is the model o wireless worth waiting for?
@copper dock if you are used to and familiar with the shape, go ahead but i suggest waiting for the reviews
glorious make great mice but theyre unproven in wireless still
also Model O is an FK clone so it barely has a hump for Claw, very optimized for Fingertip
its worth waiting for if you want the model o but dont want a wired mouse :p
How are audiothechnica headphones vs other brands like steel series or Logitech?
How are audiothechnica headphones vs other brands like steel series or Logitech?
@river relic i got an m40x and never bought a "gaming" headset ever again
but i suggest getting some Oval Brainwavz pads for those bc the stock ones are not very good lol
Ah okay sounds good
ya the ath m40x are not the most comfortable for some but have good sound for the cost
Yes lol
I have like 3 year old hyper Xs and they aren’t too good now
I'll totally help you out after my HW is done if I'm not working on it for the rest of the day
if yall want a good read on sketchy groupbuys here https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=106738.300
[GB] KKINGKKONG 660 Keyboard | closed
I have like 3 year old hyper Xs and they aren’t too good now
@river relic the down side of not getting a gaming headset is that youre probably gonna get a seperate microphone that is, if you use a mic
Yeah I probably will end up getting one for the quality since they sell so many now
I've tried HyperX Clouds and they kinda crap compared to ATH-M40x
i want something like the elgato wave 1 but sounds good
The option that someone gave me didnt have sound tests on yt
So i was a lil sketched out
Good gaming headset with a decent mic that isnt too expensive?
podcastage is good source of mic reviews, zreviews for headphones
also interesting night, ive never tried the hyperx but i could believe it lol
Wut they dont got a mic
Wut they dont got a mic
@cunning hearth naw it do
HyperX Cloud Alphas the go-to gaming headsets i recommend
and its not crazy expensive
I currently have the HyperX Cloud II, is it worth an upgrade or nah? Feel like the sound is lacking slightly in games
I currently have the HyperX Cloud II, is it worth an upgrade or nah? Feel like the sound is lacking slightly in games
@waxen hare you ever consider open-back headphones?
just upgrading your cans to the premium model wouldnt really change much im afraid
Never used open-back headphones so not really sure on what the difference is
Audiophile's incoming
Open backed headphones are on a different level
But they aren't very practical outside of an office or somewhat noise isolated area
err
I haven't tried that mic, idk
the quadcast is very meh on all polar patterns
like ill turn on polar pattern to left and right
bad for money
the only polar pattern you need is cardioid, also if for some vc like discord, they downmix to mono, so no left and right sound
near the price elgato wave, blue yeti nano decent, for cheaper samson q2u(which picks up less bg noise)
Never used open-back headphones so not really sure on what the difference is
@waxen hare i recommend watching Hardware Canucks video about that topic, he explains it very well
Then should i just get wave 1
best usb mic for price
Question tho do i buy the shock mount and pop filter with it for an additional 70$
if you want, shock mount can minimize desk bumps and keyboard hits
or just dont hit ur keyboard
But im getting a arm with it
And it comes with pop filter
so
But ones cooler than the other
then maybe it fine, idk really how it is with arm it bumps are annoying
anyone know what this is?
Not sure, but from the looks of it, a signal switcher. Switching the signal heard in the headphones from one amp on the left to the other on the right
would be useful for comparing things like amps
those are discontinued arent they?
I wanna be immersed
youd be immersed in any open-backs granted your environment isnt very loud
yes
ok ty
better than on ears but thats preference
@tacit wing yeah its a expensive asf switch
@tacit wing yeah its a expensive asf switch
@white talon what tube amps u recommend for a pair of 58x's
i mean darkvoice, valhalla 2 tube amp, and others
smsl t2 is another
all depends on how much power you watn
@tacit wing
The only thing that would give you surround sound is at least 4 or 5 speakers surrounding you
all that surround stuff in headphones is just gimmick
Really
imma just get the hyperx cloud 2
Replace the earpads with the ones that come in the box
Ez clap
feel like theres more value
And ill just take off the mic
And use elgato
all that surround stuff in headphones is just gimmick
@west hornet we had this conversation last night and he wouldnt listen 🤦🏾😂
I have this conversation a lot
the marketing team behind gaming peripherals sure earned their wages
from my experience, my stereo headphones have better “positional” audio than any surround headphone or headset ive used
also directional sound greatly depends on the game itself. Apex Legends sound is notoriously bad lol
Cuz it had the usb sound card
theres no verticality in sound in that game
the normal Alphas a better value imo
not the Alpha S
for under 100 u get alot of headset with the regular Alpha
Brainwavz Ovals
it sure do come with earpdas
what kinda manufacturer sell u headphones with no pads
No like different ones
Alpha s comes with 2 sets
I want velour ones
like fabric comfy ones
lowkey
coolest wow factor for my LD mk2 is probably not gonna be the tubes
but the tubes in the DARK
😍
I mean like MMMM
imagine that on your desk
and people are like "the hell is that for?" oh it's for my headphones
should i get the razer huntsman mini
@calm cobalt noooo its terrible
rattle city lol
and this is coming from someone who loves their mice
and people are like "the hell is that for?" oh it's for my headphones
@brisk parcel seeing tubes makes me feel warm, they make headphones sound warm, they make mids warm. everything about them is cozy lmao
You think imma be better
@last plinth i wouldnt say better but id say playing on membrane will limit yourself to play your best, if that makes sense
yes
game mechanics arent taught by peripherals
cant wait to be better
my mechanics were good im pretty sure
i feel like i was limited tho
Never blamed my keyboard
Tyler1 plays LoL on membrane and that mf types over 100wpm with two fingers
Hey hey
hi
I'm looking for a gaming headset with a usb connection, a boom mic. For under 100 or so
I had the Sennheiser 636 or 363 I forget what it is but I stepped on the boom mic and had to toss them
:(
why usb
I've been looking at hyperx but all they have are 3.5 optical
I don't like having the cable attached to the bottom of my PlayStation controller, and also I don't want wireless
For when I play on PC
ok
dont know much about headphones but looks fine to me
Probaly wanna watch a vid with a mic test so u know what it sounds like
True
I have about $140 I can use tops
Since I'm putting together a RTX 3000
So I'm wondering if I should buy the hard drive for the computer I'm building, or the microphone that I can use on both my PlayStation and computer
The Corsair void Pro looks nice too
@tacit wing will look at it
Thoughts on rosewill neon k81 br?
@old root I have the gsp 300’s they’re great, sound good, they lack a little in bass tho, has a good mic it’s a bit on the quieter side but that’s fine with me, the clamping pressure is pretty good not too much but not too little, overall a well balanced pair
ISO a good WiFi Router. Doesn't need to be beefy for Gaming. I have a Ethernet Cable for that
ISO?
in search of
lmfao
I don’t know much about good and bad routers so I’ll let someone else take the q, but it’d probably help if they knew your budget and how quick your internet is to find a router suitable for your needs
@hasty apex I mean you can just stroll around here. For the wifi standards, you'd be looking for :
802.11 N if your internet is crap and would not sustain 50MB/s, AC if your internet sustains less than 150 MB/s, AX (also called wifi 6), if your internet sustain more.
https://www.newegg.com/Wireless-Routers/SubCategory/ID-145
Using an ac router for 10MB/s connection works just fine, but usually worse standards is cheaper
So look for an AC router, and depending on budget AX
keep in mind, I'm talking Megabytes per second(MB/s), not megabits per second(mbps).
Yeah.
My PC is hardwired. I just need something to Link all my other stuffs. (Phone, Chrome cast, Printer. Etc)
Charter wants to charge me $50 for one. So I figured I might as well pony up and buy a proper one
I'm not familiar with the router market, so just stroll around until you find one that looks good to you :)
Thanks ^_^
Get cox gigablast
What’s better to plug my headset into? Rear or front audio?
Alright thanks. My case has front panel audio so i was wondering what was best to use.
anyone have recs for a gaming headset around the 100$ price point?
i didnt know if there were any good hyperX around there ik corsair has a line at like 80 but ive heard mixed reviews on them
I don't use gaming headphone
Hyperx cloud 2
Cooler master mh752
the default gaming headset i always recommend is the Cloud Alpha bc its actually derived from a pair of monitoring cans
lol
otherwise slap a ModMic on to a M40x and u got yourself a "gaming headset" killer
The mh 751 and 752’s are basically those but updated
help wifi is slow for weird reason
Hey guys
So I'm trying to sell something on offerup, a pair of headphones the Lucio Nari Ultimate ones
At 12:49 Pacific standard Time he messaged me that he was a half hour away
It's been about an hour and 15 minutes close to 2:00 p.m.
well thats OfferUp for you
Lmao it's usually good.
I left at 2 .
I messaged and said you know it's pretty rude of you to not show up after someone drops the price of something $120 and waits for you for upwards of an hour.
I told him to not contact me again, and I marked as sold
I think I'll bring the price up
for sure bro
So I'm trying to sell something on offerup, a pair of headphones the Lucio Nari Ultimate ones
@old root i think i found ur cans in my local OfferUp lmao
HB?
YESS
o nvm
LMAO
o
dam youve had it posted two weeks ago
He's like i'll be there in 30 mins, i left 20 minutes later.
I marked it as sold and raised the price
Reason: Bad word usage
did u had a new pair to replace your Nari's?
Nope.
I need the money from the Nari selling to buy the Arctis 5's
or the Sennheisers
Arctis 5 Surround Sound RGB Gaming Headset, Black
Probably the arctis 5
I have a Deathadder Expert
lol simple.
yeah i can afford the one i want
the headset. after phone bill and expenses. :3
have u made ur decision?

i dont really need a new pair of headphone but id admit ill be down to cop a pair of Arctis cans for its looks
looks are subjective but i love the customizability on those headsets
this is kinda sick
I chose EPOS Sennheiser GSP 300
cop it bruh 😂
no one answering in general - anyone know a solution for super sticky keys? It's my school issued laptop so it's a membrane keyboard, I have a linear one and have never had this problem as this is my first membrane
Just connect ur keyboard to ur school computer
no one answering in general - anyone know a solution for super sticky keys? It's my school issued laptop so it's a membrane keyboard, I have a linear one and have never had this problem as this is my first membrane
@prisma niche well its school issued what u expect?
ikr
dont think you would would want to know what those keys went through
its just annoying to do my work on
honestly lmao
If I get rona from anything it would be this keyboard
bruh lookie these tubes: https://www.ebay.com/itm/M8161-EF92-6065-CV4015-MULLARD-NOS/310391381072?epid=0&hash=item4844c49c50:g:iKkAAOSwIWNdeqX5
@brisk parcel whats a great starter tube amp?
i was suggested darkvoice or little dot mk2
i havent even tried solid state yet, you think its ok to go straight into tube amps?
i was told Sennheisers loves tubes
Anyone have any suggestions for a 60% keyboard for 100$ and under. I would pefer it to be white but doesn’t matter
Anyone have any suggestions for a 60% keyboard for 100$ and under. I would pefer it to be white but doesn’t matter
@rough warren anne pro 2
gmmk 60%
durgod hades
@sick bramble if you’re talking about the Corsair k55 I already have it and that’s why I want a smaller one plus I got tricked into thinking it was Mechanical back before I knew anything about keyboards
@tacit wing what switches do you recommend for the Anne pro 2
@tacit wing what switches do you recommend for the Anne pro 2
@rough warren i recommend whatever you're comfortable with, whether be it linear or tactile
if you dont know what either feels like, linear is the safer choice for most people so Reds
@tacit wing alright thank you 😊
i recommend getting the GMMK Compact over the Anne Pro though @rough warren
that keeb is hotswappable so you have more flexibility in key switches
:shake_frog:
@sturdy barn i want a Team Liquid one
the Yasuo ones look sick as well
idk anything about League tho
I just follow TL csgo
if my razer kraken te's broke and i had to replace them whats a good headset in the 250$ to 100$ range?
Wired or not?
I have the hyper x cloud 2. I’ve had them for like two or three years and my only complaint is that they aren’t wireless but they are good to me
They’re on the lower end of your budget so you could possibly get better
is there like a brand i should look for
like sennheiser or audio technica
or somone else
sennheiser, sony, bose are pretty standard, but i assume you are looking for a headset with a mic?
Bruh
Why get headset when you have mic
because
i need one for when it's late
i have a very good stereo system but things like games and school meets
@west hornet
Why not headphones
he doesnt want balls on his face during his zoom meetings i reckon
like sennheiser or audio technica
@last shadow M40x plus a ModMic is a good place to start
what about the sennheiser gsp 500
which headsets r good? hyperx cloud alpha vs steelseries arctix 1?
which headsets r good? hyperx cloud alpha vs steelseries arctix 1?
@cunning hearth Cloud Alphas are an easy recommend for me bc theyre based on actual monitoring cans
which are the Takstar 82's
what about the hd 280 pro
@last shadow if you're looking for good reference cans then yeah go for it
consider the M40x as well around that price range
what about the philips x2hr?
@tacit wing
a bunch of online audio sites specifically chose this pair for pc gaming/value
a bunch of online audio sites specifically chose this pair for pc gaming/value
@last shadow whatever open-backs you choose will be a noticeable difference transitioning from closed backs
X2HR's are a good place to start for that
if you want an even more budget pair consider the SHP950, also from Philips
but i believe those are discontinued
hey so i have a G503 wired thats not staying connected
u mean a 502?
how old is the mouse?
maybe try using another mouse if u have one in hand
congrats, you are currently in the market for a new mouse
IF you know someone that can solder, they "might" be able to help you fix it, but .. yeah
well if ur already familiar with the 502, consider the Basilisk bc thats its direct competitor
similar shape
i mean if u really liked the 502 u can just get another
well im excited for Roccat's new mouse which is the Burst Pro
seems to be a Viper Mini competitor
which i main currently
probably too small for you but i like small mice
that actually makes sense
i only bought a lighter mouse when i dropped my sens on Csgo
im locked in at 400dpi, i use my dpi button for mute on discord lol
thats like default dpi tho
no i like mice in general lmao
i only have experience with Logi, razer, Steel series, and Zowie mice
alr gtg now im back at work
if you guys had to choose between the hyperx pulsefire fps pro or surge which would you choose and why
Why limit yourself to those two
why not just pick one of the two
K man chill, just a simple question
I’d pick the pulse fire surge
But both of em aren’t great
I’d rather take a glorious mouse or sum thing
sorry if that came out aggressive - it's just cheap to buy one of the two from my friends
nah like i'm buying mouse from them
Ok
G402
no prob
oh on the website it says they have the same sensor
hmm ok
or am i not looking at the right thing
idk i dont have much experience wiht hyperx mice
oh okay
i want a decent cheap mouse
@lilac echo Harpoon Wireless is good if you can get it for under $35
wow a 3389 in a mouse thats only 35 bucks
g pro wired not worth it
if youre looking at a g pro wired just get a g203 or g102
theyre cheaper and not that much worse
If you don't mind refurb, look for a last gen dark core rgb too. Love that mouse
razer viper mini is a good cheap mouse
nope its got a dongle
Bluetooth, dongle or wired
DARK CORE RGB features ultra-fast 1ms wireless, Bluetooth® compatibility and wired mode for performance gaming with versatile connectivity. The custom, high-accuracy 16000 DPI optical sensor and comfort-contoured shape ensures precision and control. Compatible with CORSAIR iCUE
For both harpoon and dark core
i'll see if i can find one under $35
@proper sphinx isn't the viper mini really small though
its not really small, its on the smaller side but not reallly small
btw whats your grip style
the viper mini has a similar size to the corsair harpoon
viper mini is actually bigger than the harpoon
you get so much mouse with the Viper Mini for under 50 dollars
you dont often see stock paracord and PTFE virgin skates coming standard around that price range
^^
@proper sphinx my grip is claw and sometimes fingertip
ok so all the mice that are llisted should fit your grip
g203 ez
yes yes yes yes
or endgame xm1
out of budget
i sometimes find myself having trouble clawing my Viper mini. it barely has a hump
very optimized for ftip tho
my g203 i can claw and fingertip
i love the egg shape on the g203, its the best
isn't that the same shape as the g pro wired
i tried the g pro wired but i felt like it's kinda short
k
when i did claw my fingers were like hanging off the edge
your hands might be too big then
how do i measure my hands
im 18x9 cm
start from the wrist go up to the middle finger
then measure from the thumb to the edge of your wrist on the right
am i stretching my hand out or
completely open palm
this is tough because large mice aren't generally budget friendly
like Zowie EC1 or G-Wolves Skoll are definitely out of price range
so i'm 7 1/4 in x 3 7/8
just get the glorious model o lmao
that too
that's like what $60?
whats exactly ur budget
its $50
hmmm i don't wanna spend too much on yet so
and theres the o- too for smaller hands
i'd say like $20-30 for used mice
i'm always looking for future considerations though
u could get a used g502 spectrum
razer deathadder 2013
those r both good mice u can get for ~30 now
i mean maybe i could just spend $50 for a new mouse
oh hows the mm711 or whatever it's called
G402
great mouse tho
20-25$
