(its a abandoned project now, with most dead picture links on geekhack)
AcidFire's modular keyboard system - Axios [In Development]
aye
some of the in-dev pictures of different styles
the concept was very very very interesting
yeah looks interesting
gaemer ergo board :v
@amber oracle since u have an ergodox, what are ur thoughts on an alice style keyboard?
thats the "wave" style one right?
yeah
i have tried to NOT think about it too much
because its not like i actually NEED another keyboard
does that answer your question?
hm
i was thinking more about the ergonomics since u use an ergo board than owning one
without mapping it out, which is the preferred way of testing things like that (ergonomics)
i would say its angled a bit weird on the sides
like the wsx column?
mainly for this reason
your pinky likes stretching
and the Alice seems to want to keep your pinky slightly bent
but i would have to map it, as i said above, to really have something to say on it
ic
you get what i mean with the pinky btw?
i am talking about the highlighted areas on both sides
see the black line?
if the keys under that (and the other rows below that) was closer to the red/orange line? i would be much more supportive of that design
but again, that is just eyeballing it
okay so yeah thats kinda what i was thinking
and for something like that, mapping it out is 100% the smart thing to do
lol
aye, that is closer to a "natural" curve
the alice "looks" like it has a "break" in the shape
look up Obra if you are interested in wonky
he is the one with a trackball in the middle
(and not the small trackball either)
aye
there is one that has a red ball and its polished wood for the case
i might have the wrong name thou
yeah ive seen a lot of the ones with just a standalone trackball in the middle
something like this
I got the sub working! This is what I did in the end: speaker out from amp -> sub sub's speaker out -> speakers
Thanks for the help :)
Looks like a bat. That keyboard mouse ball thing.
That looks so strange
Step 1: Acquire switches.
Step 2: Wait for everything else to eventually show up in the mail.
is g413 a good budget mechanical option?
are the stock keycaps on the huntsman mini good
Yes
yes they are good
ok
lmao my teacher got that rgb headset
ayo
my dt 990s kinda stink since i got them used
im able to wash the earpads but what about the inside of them?
you could pull them apart and try to clean them
look at some of the mod tutorials for them
and you should find the info you need for pulling them apart there @hollow pond
okay thx
ya i looked it up and i was more than sure you could clean the velour but idk about the foam that covers the diaphram
Desk reccomendations?
63”
I use a cheap Ikea table top and tbh it's perfectly adequate
What's the best mechanical keyboard that can plug into xbox and pc?
otd 356 mini
No
For some reason every pro recording studio I've ever been in has one.
But to be fair they also all have Macs and Protools.
Honestly, that's solid stuff for the price
You could have gotten a direct drive wheel for that, but no pedals or handbrake
I think for slightly less than a grand you can't really beat that kit
i have a turtle beach earforce x12 and the mic is dieing and speaker quality is starting to not be as good but they are comfortable so :p
Is it dumb to use a 103€ mouse with a 200€ laptop?
103 for a g502?!
Is it dumb to use a 103€ mouse with a 200€ laptop?
@toxic scroll bro u got finessed
that mouse is like $50 USD
hello guys i have razer viper ultime and also have some battery issue with it not charging properly so im confused abouth change it should i cross g pro wireless?
dumb question
do switches have to be re-lubed? if so how often do i have to re-lube them?
no
hello guys i have razer viper ultime and also have some battery issue with it not charging properly so im confused abouth change it should i cross g pro wireless?
@primal ridge g pro wireless are notorious for having their omron switches double-clicking. best to stray away from both mice if you really want to be safe
though alot of people are installing after market Kailh switches to their GPW and youll have a perfect mouse
that mouse is like $50 USD
Welcome to the italian reality
And to be honest i didn't even paid for it
They were throwing it away and i took it, it sometimes clicks the middle button at random but apart from that everything is fine
the scroll wheel is suppose to click side to side just so you know
thats a feature on the 502
@tacit wing so i ll go for deathadder v2 mini cuz not necessary for paying to much broken product
@tacit wing so i ll go for deathadder v2 mini cuz not necessary for paying to much broken product
@primal ridge good mouse. im viper mini gang myself
little bit feels bad for let it behind wireless 😦
this is exactly why i havent switched to wireless yet
i feel like if do make the switch itll be hard for me to go back wired
u know what razer products really feels cheap materials i dunno why techs are good but plastic materials kinda low priced
my viper mini is built like a tank compared to other lightweight mice with holes on them
yeah i had glorious model they did with cable issue then i throw away this mouse too
also i have coolmaster m710
currently viper ultimate
im spending tons of money for mice
the old glorious cables are not very good i heard
though ive heard nothing but good things about their new Ascended cable
there is no second chance for this company
it sucks hearing about Viper Ult charging issues
yeah dude
what if you charge the mouse by the cord and not the dock?
cant charge only working not charging
maybe they have v2 witout charging dock
i have dock and not charging witout dock
so it doesnt work either way?
yeah until logitech leave the omron switchs not gonna buy acutally
i have friend that switch from Viper Ultimate to GPW and it started doubleclicking at 2 weeks old
hmmm
its funny bc he had the same issue as you with the Viper
if you like the mm710 yes
i likes smol mice
i think the back hump on mm710 is bigger
Viper Mini is smaller in length than Ultimate but its actually taller than Ultimate
Mini has a more pronounced hump
but mini is also skinnier in width
62 grams is good weight for no holes
hump hight bothering u ?
not really. i use fingertip grip
me too
its a perfect fingertip mouse
viper clicks squeaking
also the side buttons on the Mini sticks out more than the Ultimate
yeah heard that
heres a comparison of size and shape
ultimate is blue
mini is green
pretty sick huh
what u play
i ordered now
lol nice
i feel like the Viper Mini paracord is good enough for it to feel wireless
u didnt like deathadder v2 mini?
i ordered deathadder v2 mini
that mouse comes with grip tape if ur into that
im shroud then 😄
is it yours ?
good for u
this is mine
i wish i be like u
good reminder
i need 915 tkl
logitech
i have k70 mk2 low profile
Reason: Bad word usage
the 915 is like more than 200 dollars no?
i cant get into wireless keyboards bc i like the look of coiled cables
😄
i just ordered this one
also u can use with cable but not coiled
yeah but i love the look of coiled
yeah
back to 2005 😄
i feel like this coiled cable or wireless is the best look for keyboard setups
the 915 is out of my budget tho 😦
wireless also have charging issue
for g915? ive heard not issues about the 915
yeah thats a sacrifice
u can turn off RGB on the 915 and save a ton of battery life
i would go for cable cuz cable size realyy thin
turn off rgb ???????? what did i pay for 😄
of course i dont care but with out any light on keyboard looks bad
not like any other compatenet of pc
true
keyboard need light speacially nights
what is ur keyboard right now?
ur trying to go TKL?
lol coiled cable it may not be the best thing to buy but they look nice
yeah tkl good for my desk need space
lol coiled cable it may not be the best thing to buy but they look nice
@tight pulsar yes. idk what im doing with a coiled cable that almost cost as much as my pre-built
really are they expensive ?
for what they are yeah. i paid 65 for mine and its purely just aesthetic
usually like 50+ or 150 with lemo
my coiled cable is more pricey than my Viper Mini
imagine paying 65 bucks and keep avoid from tkl 😄
ok to be fair the usb cable most pre-builts comes with dont look too good in my opinion
well i own a hyper x TKL and a ducky 60% keeb
but the coiled cable i ordered came from a company called Kalamity Cables
what abouth the click sound do u making ppl crazy when u type 😄
oh naw i dont like clicky blue switches
blue sucks man
im used to brown tactiles although they feel like linears lol
i have only used tactiles and linears
gamers only use w a d s
anyone mind answering a quick question bc I'm too indecisive to figure this out myself?
haha I'm just debating on whether or not to buy a webcam. I know you can also use a phone and I have an old iphone 6 I don't use much but in terms of temp adjustments and positioning a webcam seems better in that regard
logitech have good options for it u can check for ur budget
if ur in a budget just pick a generic one from amazon lol
anyways thanks for suggest dino have a good night
i got an ultrawide no brand webcam from Amazon and its good enough for my Zoom classes
mkay cool! Thank you guys :)
Hey guys do u recommend gk61 with gat yellow optical switches or glorious gmmk with kailh speed silvers?
no experience with those keebs but i can tell you i thought about getting a GMMK and later finding out its mini USB
Oof but i think the white ice version has usb c
Wut tkl keyboard u recommend for under 150?
ok well im no keyboard expert
but i just got an alloy origins core from HyperX for 65 dollars lol
they got a sale going on
What's wrong with mini usb :(
oh its just bc my coiled cable is usb-c lol
i thought about getting a GMMK but its not C but i just found out the white version is lol
Yea
really idk either
Im debating over gat optical yellows or kailh speed silvers and i rlly dont know which one tk get
someone said it ahs usbc now in glorious disc
so
idk
Wut tkl keyboard u recommend for under 150?
@cunning hearth Glorious GMMK lol
i have white ice which has usbc and its really good
K
i also have a Drop ALT which is really expensive
Which switches u got?
(its technically a 65 percent but)
i have halo trues in my drop alt
and default browns in the glorious board
Oh k
Ig ill get some cherry speed silvers or kailh silvers and pop them in the gmmk
nice
hm should i ask for a update on my keyboard
i wanna but i dont wanna disturb yz if hes busy
demand for status update
Sooooo what mouse and keyboard does everyone use?
Mouse
And keyboard 😎
My keyboard is a slim thinkpad style Lenovo and my mouse is a 2013 Razer Deathadder
Otherwise known as mouse and keyboard 😎 🔥
do u really want me to answer that question
Blackwidow v2 + viper
modulus60 with aluminum half plate, everglide sakura pinks spring swapped to 63.5g SPRiT, deskeys switch films, lubed with 205g0 and cherry topped, everglide stabilizers lubed with 205g0 on the housings and wires all on a plain60c flex edition with crp tulip R3 when they come and a model o
and a model o
i have a drop alt with halo trues and a model o. I also sometimes use the gpw depending on feeling
mine is ok
but theres a really high chance you get one that double clicks
cause logi used wack chinese omrons
logi is a hit or miss for the gpw
Is a 1440p 165hz monitor good for a r7 3700x and 3080?
@last plinth just get the Glorious Model O wireless thats coming out soon
@calm cobalt yes
Damn wrong chat my bad lol
np
Glorious model o wireless
Meant to click on displays 😂
idk if its worth
Would rather get wired
well then why are you getting a gpw?
you know that the g pro wireless
is wireless right?
lol
i would not reccomend that
get something like a model o
which doesnt have double click issues like the gpw
no offense but "getting what the pros have" is a horrible reason to get something
most pros dont know anything about peripherals
just dont get the gpw unless you want wireless
^^
a wired mouse is fine
@last plinth for a mouse, get something that will fit your hand just fine
I have a bungee
ok then there is no need for a wireless mouse really

ok
why?
So glorious model o

watch reviews on the model o and the gpw
ill get a razer viper or the mini over the model o
ok ill get gpw
yea
which doesnt have double click issues like the gpw
@sharp kindle plus the gpw rarely has double click issues
the why the model o sucks video is outdated
trust me its really good
glorious has fixed the issues
but if you want the gpw just get it
ok what
ok but whatever you do dont listen to taht guy who complains about the o
how much is the shroud one
the model o
?
his video is horrible and most of his complaints are completely bs because hes comparing it to a different mouse
the gpw rarely has issues
omrons are supposed to have a heavier click
the model o has a horrible cable
unless u paracord it
the model o cable is basically a bad paracord
anyone can tell u the cable is bad
its better then most cables imo
im just saying afaik logi still has issues with the gpw
razer viper over model o tbh
yes it is
The shroud gpw is the same price
@calm cobalt do you have both mice
i might get it then
U preorder it on the logitech website tho
lol
viper and model o
because im just saying i like the model o more then the viper
and i like the gpw more then the viper
imo razer cables are ok
i blanked
What does imo mean
razer is soo good rn tho
Ok
i watch a bunch of reviews
I dont like razer
watch boardzys review on the gpw
had it for months and didnt break not a single issue
yes watch a bunch of reviews on both mice
Imma get gpw shroud edition and get hyperslides
sure
If it is faulty i can return it right
nice

yea pretty sure
ok bet
idk if logi has changed their omrons from fake chinese ones to real ones but if they have props to them
i really like my gpw but i like the model o more
both are great mice
and really, both have small issues
glorious doesnt have to atm
they are competing with companies such as logitech and razer
with razer finalmouse and logitech is killing them tbh
they're gonna release a 80 dollar wireless mouse
especially razer
they've upped quality control and they make products that are amazing
Also will different chipset mobo affect performance
in addition they actively listen to their community
model o- did bad against finalmouse and razer
and model o did decent against logitech and razer
Pog
i think glorious wasnt smart to release the o- and d-
yes same
model d is bad
why?
just bad
its a ec clone kind of
why is it bad
dude you gotta give reasons to wh
y
you cant just say that its bad
yea
from which tech review channels?
yea
yea
well thats not good
yea
but i think glorious has made a huge impact in the scene and atm ill buy a glorious product over razer
simply because of the fact that they offer fair pricing
and because their customer service is good
their quality isnt as good/ is on par with razer for me
razer is $10 cheaper
not good not great
not for keyboards
also im not sure if razer mice are that cheap
well the rhm isnt bad
lemme check real quick
wait really?
better cord stock feet and price
last i checked it was 50 but wow
holy crap razer got big balls
ohh thats not a great price
they switched
if your gonna make a 130 dollar wireless mouse using genuine omrons might be a good move
really?
i think
no the sensor changed but their still chinese omrons afaik
i found nothing about changing the switches
i gtg but it was fun to have a civilized argument about mice lol
cya
how much in aud for g pro tkl romer g tactile?
Search it up
^
My headphone cases came in
for what headphones
athm50x and dt990pros
anyone got any good suggestions for some solid headphones around $100
wired/wireless doesn't matter
hyperx cloud 2 @elder remnant
headphones, not cans on a string @calm cobalt
cloud 2s are actually a good budget headset lol
i've had razer krakens and corsair void pros so far and i'm not too impressed by either of them
the Cloud2's are also a headset.
and the mic thats built in is good
Which might not be what @elder remnant is looking for
yeah i'm finally switching off of headset microphones for my new build
headset = headphones with mic
headphone= headphone
whats your budget again
ok
steelseries arctis 3s arent bad
just go on yt and look at whats best for you
but i will say hyper cloud 2s or steel series arctis 3s
or 5s
i was looking more towards sound quality wise
the "gamer" label on headsets is just
soo
hyperx cloud 2 cant be used as headphones
pretty sure u dont have to use the mic
...
œ
when I hear hyper x my mind thinks of "console headset" like turtle beach tbh
@west hornet alive?
not really
its a really good start off company with really good headsets
but steelseries is decent too
@calm cobalt compared to something like a decent Beyerdynamic set of headphones? the "headsets" you are mentioning sound exactly like cans on a string
Audiophile headphones are on a completely different level
"something like..." <- please read again.
plenty of options can blow the "gamer" headsets out of the water
under 100
Ghost talked about some good 80$ headphones before
and headsets have detatchable mics
you are still not getting the point @calm cobalt
audiophile lands
ill say just do research on yt tbh
whats the best for you
anyone got good mousepad recomendations
since the g sr se is out of stock
I have been SUMMONED
?
@brisk parcel headphones (NOT headset) for 100usd max-ish
cheers :)
some great starters, berodynamics got some good options in that price range, audio technica as well, if you're looking to spend a little bit more sennheiser has some nice offers as well, but the cheapest I know from them are the 58X Jubilees which while they are amazing are a bit out of your range unfortunately
let me get you some links
will do, I will include up to $150 then, but I've got a few options for you so hold on
mans got a list he gotta pull up
alright
straight off the bat, $150, DT 770s, best cans for $150 I've ever tried:
https://www.amazon.com/beyerdynamic-770-PRO-Studio-Headphone/dp/B0016MNAAI/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=dt770&qid=1600718290&s=electronics&sr=1-2&th=1
next up, for $140, best open-backs of the bunch here, the Fidelio X2HRs. SUPER solid, much akin to the SPH9500s later on here:
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-X2HR-Over-Ear-Open-Air-Headphone/dp/B01N5VHLUG/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=fidelio+x2hr&qid=1600718459&sr=8-3
P.S. these boys are open-back, which if you've never tried, then you've never really listened 😍
NUMBA 3! right on the money, the ATH-40x from Audio Technica, nothing super special about them other than the price, one of the best-in-class for $100:
https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATHM40x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR54/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ath-m40x&qid=1600718567&sr=8-3
FOURRRR: Ahhhh sennheiser, the name says it all. Known for a very signature sound, they make good stuff, and the HD280 PROs are a great start! also $100, so can't go wrong there.
https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD280PRO-Headphone-new-model/dp/B00IT0IHOY/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=hd280+pro&qid=1600718693&s=electronics&sr=1-3
up on 5! the best open-backs I've ever tried for under $100, the Philips SPH9500s. Like I said, they're open-back, so you just have to listen to really get the feeling. super solid sound, and the bass gives a nice low rumble. Trebles are particularly nice on these too, so always a plus! on sale for $75
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHP9500S-Precision-Over-ear-Headphones/dp/B00ENMK1DW/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=shp9500&qid=1600718933&sr=8-3
6! back up to $150, but by far and away the best $150 cans I've ever owned, the Sennheiser HD598 Cs! if you can find them in stock, that is...
https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Cs-Headphone/dp/B01JP436TS/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=598c&qid=1600719010&sr=8-2
holy
finally, my personal favs for $170, my babies themselves, the massdrop x Sennheiser 58X jubilees. I rant! I rave! because they're the best cans under $500 I've ever tried. can be modded ever slightly to sound nearly Identical to HD 660S, which are $500 😂
https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-sennheiser-hd-58x-jubilee-headphones
@calm cobalt take that 😎
Well you are definitely the right person to ask about this type of stuff
I'll make sure to look up reviews on each one today thank you for so many suggestions
@elder remnant and this is why i said i was going to call in the blabbers :)
oh yeah dude totally! find what you love
?
the world of audiophilia is a curse and a blessing
whats going on lol
a curse for your wallet, a blessing for your ears ❤️
p sure its like 95% a curse and 5% good
shhhh
@brisk parcel thank you for your time :)
^^
np man, always glad to help
how much is it
the headphones your talking about
and better than any "gamer" headphones I've tried
price?
well if you read what I said
@calm cobalt read, click.
I included the prices
its not magic
^
can u restate
just good old passion for the subject
i didnt see
the TLDR is: There is no TLDR
but here: $150, 140, 100, 100, 75, 150, and my babies for 170
stop being lazy and scroll up
if you want the best "gamer" headset you'll ever own, pick up the cooler master MH751-752s, a reskin of Takstar Pro 82s and a little bit wider, super solid sound, and only $80
not really
and well they're definitely up there, but well my name says who I side with
bro I have tried cans upon cans
steelseries, corsair, hyperx, razer
and you are missing the point again @calm cobalt
even the arctis pro, the $300 "audiophile" ones, total garbage
instead of spending 200 on headphones
listen man you're not getting the point
@calm cobalt facts over fiction. mate.
If it meant godly sound quality and I had the money i'd pay 200 for a pair
no question
but listen man
i agree
you say sound doesn't make you better, do you even know what good sound is?
good stereo imaging is better than any surround could ever hope to produce
try again
iems
earbuds, historically, have good imaging, so I'm not surprised that some do
plus, some iems can go for crazy cash
apple earbuds btw
@calm cobalt let me just find my iems that i use on jobs
pros dont play with apple earbuds they play with high quality iems that are probably more than the headphones u listed
or andriod or something
go watch unknown
look up unknown earbuds
on yt
he uses earbuds
and?
just saying i wouldnt spend 200 on something when theres better things for your wallet at way lower prices
but, better quality? no, there isn't.
the quality isnt bad tho
@calm cobalt Shure SE535-CL
its really good for the price
fact: gamer headsets don't care about bass they want to hear those sweet footsteps
have a look at those budget iem's in my field
Reason: Bad word usage
and fyi unknown uses cheaper earbuds because his headphones arent working right, he normally uses dt990 pros
he still does good with them tho lol
which has nothing to do with the conversation
and Rexo, buddy, take it from me dude, I've used plenty of cans in this price-range, every single audiophile one i've tried has come out on top, far and away
it's why I switched, I owned cloud 2s for 3 years, I payed full price for them
you dont need a mechanical keyboard unless ur rich rich
ive watched reviews on a bunch of headphones from big people and they say there all good
so
this time around, I got the 58Xs I rave about, for a little bit more ($30!) and I hear a WORLD of difference
NIGHT and DAY
personal preference at the end of the day
and you know those reviews are also paid reviews so...
I prefer good sound quality if it comes with a premium price
ill only pay for a headset or headphones if its really good and tons of ppl suggest it
tbh
ive watched reviews on a bunch of headphones from big people and they say there all good <- if you have never tried a phone, 2 cans on a string sounds like magic
that does NOT mean they are actually good
...
99.99% of the people that do headphone/headset reviews have bugger all idea about what they talk about
rexo I bet you didn't even know it existed, but most pros who use IEMS will use multiple driver IEMS
https://www.amazon.com/1MORE-Headphones-Reproduction-Resolution-Smartphones/dp/B06XSJV5B9
such as these
which are my personal IEMS I use every day
they have a driver and 3 balanced armatures in each ear
@brisk parcel how u like those vs 58x or whatever headphones u daily drive
can pick apart any audio scene like god damn lasagna, not cake, lasagna has more layers
and man I love them
so much
took about a week for them to burn in and man
they're good
just that, they're good, worth every penny, every 170,000 pennies
i assume u have them hooked up to a dac amp right
I do
the sound blasterX G6
yeah
gonna be buying a schiit modi and magni soon
to replace said G6
and @calm cobalt the BEST advice I can give you, is whenever you can, GO OUT TO A STORE, find a local audiophile place, and just try headphones
@west hornet hilarity and silly
ehh
Ahh I see
don't argue if you're not willing to listen to the other side mate
how much did you pay for those?
Gaming in audio
but ill probably stay
I'm trying my best here man, how much were they
...
I will just say, you get what fits your needs which is why in person trial is best, but please do never buy audio gear because marketing for something like gaming
$130
Wireless cost more because then it needs to include a dac and amp
yeah I know that but $80 more?
ok
now anyway
$80 isnt bad tho
ive been meaning to get an actual audio setup but bikes are $$
if u had extra money wanted to upgrade get those
rexo, for $130, you could've gotten almost any of the cans I recommended to @elder remnant here, and you would've ended up with better audio, EVERY time, by far
Amd bike
even against the lower priced ones
lol amd bike
personal preference tho
130 headset - pc37x
u might like it but i might not
if u like it
$130, perfect
doesnt mean the next kid will
has the same driver as the 598Cs I mentioned, but a bit better
open back
"gamer"
would fit you perfectly
now anyway
Yes there is personal preference, but the reason why people hate on gaming headphones is because almost if not all the time “gaming” is a gimmick
yea
the 7.1 surround sounds like total garbage, I actually have a surround option on my G6 which is considered the best on the market only second to sennheier's binaural surround engine
and guess what
I leave it OFF
it sounds better that way
ok
because the imaging is just that good
ok
also, you have to worry about width, how "wide" the sound feels, clarity, whether the sound will sound like it's "veiled" almost
nice
The only way I find surround sound worth, is with the physical speakers set up around you
lol
You say you think gamer headsets are a good deal yet you've never tried any other ones, so your argument is "Oh i've only used gamer headsets and they're better than the other ones for the same price even though i've never tried any of the other ones that are cheaper and probably better"
audiophile cans are designed for pure sound quality, gamer cans are designed with gamers in mind
which is, stupid gimmicks and stuff that will actually worsen the sound without you even knowing it because your ears have never heard better
and @west hornet I totally agreee
agree*
Sadly in most common stores gaming headphones are the only ones available to try
^ sometimes you get like beats, bose, samsung. but not really true audiophile brands, best out of them is bose and even those are overpriced
Bose has good anc, but I can’t remember being blowed away by them
how much is a mixer
Depends
depends
i might buy it
lmao
Cheap one is around 70ish and they just go up in price after that
nice
Goxlr is nice if you have a xlr mic
^
price sounds nic
I got to go get dinner started, will brb
ok
@calm cobalt what you should take away from this is take our advice, we've lived in both worlds, myself especially, and I will go audiophile every time now, there are options out there that are better than any gamer option will ever hope to be, you just have to look
ask where it matters, not where you get the answer that makes you feel better about your purchase
I’ve never actually had a gaming headset lol, I’ve had cheap headphones, and have used beats and cat ear headphones for a while
@calm cobalt is that a serious comment?
lol the plot development of this channel is great
it is very possible i might get dt770 pros, but not for me i like my desktop headphones
get the dt990 if you can
okay, silly answer group you go
flat surface
?
but without oil
so no mouse pad..
ok yea no
i use my desk for osu and it works fine
remember to buy the right pad!
pads are personal preference...
get one from novelkeys
idk
probably gonna get the xxxl glorious pad
and i can get another in the future and put that on top of it
@calm cobalt you really just don't get it
tbh I prefer to lube up all my flat surfaces for my mouse
slides nice and smoooooth
Personal preferences
^^^^^
please understand
if you like something
doesnt mean everyone has to like that
my opinion > your opinion 😎
but like we said
you dont understand
you've never tried audiophile stuff
oh I completely understand
it's called being one-sided
oh the mouse pad thing was a joke
you can't have a personal preference for gaming gear if you've NEVER tried the other side
it's almost like not eating a food because "oh I don't like it" but you've NEVER tried it
yea
well then why the hell are you arguing 😂
"Oh it's good because other people say it's good and I think it's good because it's all I know"
i like gaming headsets😆
once again

you have never listened to "audiophile" headphones, so yes you might think you like gaming headsets but you could try something one day and never go back to the other side again
i thought i like ti 84, turns out i like ti 92 more
bananas!
with that you can get the sennheiser HD 6XXs
if i buy headphones for 200 i better hear the future
which are reskins of the HD650s, exact replica, with a massdrop name and a slashed price slapped on it
look up reviews
try me
donkey?
I'll even link you
(dammit, i hoped to slip that in after the "and" on you @brisk parcel )
if i buy headphones for 200 i better hear the future
in the audiophile world 200 isnt even a ton
