Hi guys! 😊 I thought I might mention something more positive about the Tower. I've come to really appreciate whenever Martha shows up in the Tower. She is usually the last one standing, and her constant healing means that my team can take ample time to heal and max out attack energy for the next floor! 😀

I have noticed that in the tower, the first few levels are easy, then it gets harder (meaning I can usually use Lars's storm and then Krista's ice crystals to destroy the team). For those of you who are experienced players, is it always like this? Or is it sometimes different?

Also, I am wondering why I am facing level 100 heroes in the tower, too.

Tower is based on all of your hero's combined, so it'll be easier if you have one built-up team and a bunch of grays than if you have one team but the rest of your heroes are upgraded.

Also the difficulty does go "up" as you progress farther but it can get easier, such as going from a 2-star violet to a 5-star gray ("harder" in the game's eyes but easier in reality)

Oh my goodness, I feel that on a personal level. 😲 😢 For many months, Yasmine was the only thing that could kill my Tower chances. I'd have no problem reaching the top, unless Yasmine showed up. Depending on how often you're on the Discord server, you might sometimes see me post an obituary, when Yasmine kills a beloved hero on floor 49, and the top of the Tower is just not the same after that battle. 😭

One piece of advice that I've been given is to invest in Helios, as Helios is considered a hard counter to Yasmine. Personally, as I don't have the resources to invest in Helios, I focused on leveling up my team. Eventually, they were strong enough (health, armor, dodge, etc.) that Yasmine wasn't that huge of a problem anymore. (Justice for all the times she murdered my Heidi. )

I also save up my attack energy on each floor, so that if Yasmine shows up on the next floor, an immediate series of ult attacks can kill her before she launches her neverending string of ults. 😊 If Astaroth is there too, I've also been advised to wait on my ults until regular attacks take some health out of Astaroth. That way, when I launch my ults, Astaroth has to resurrect himself instead of Yasmine.

Thanks to this awesome community for giving me that advice. I'm sad that I can't remember specific individuals, otherwise I'd be crediting you all in a list of tags. But I'm eager to pay it forward! 😊

Early on, yes. But gold is the least useful and least valuable thing the tower offers. If you figure a 20% drop rate and a 10 energy cost, 57 useful fragments is the equivalent of 2850 free energy.

i think there's a bug on the TOP OF THE TOWER : GOLD RUSH, it doesn't count the chests opened during the 3 days but only 45 chest each day. so it's impossible to get to 135 chest opened. Someone else has seen this ?

You need to open chests using emeralds to complete that questline. Means for 3 days you need to open all chests in tower, so that makes it 45 * 3 = 135

my strat to heal on tower: Take Faceless, Astaroth, and Maya with their speacial skill/yellow bars full. Then use Astaroth 1st, Maya 2nd, and Faceless last. Faceless copies Maya's ability which gives you even more healing. And Astaroth protects the flowers so they don't break quickly.

Sorry, girl going on soapbox again, this one about girl power. 😊 ❤️ So I realize a few others and I have started a thing about sharing our Tower triumphs and spreading the joy. But behind every screenshot is a story of grit and resilience.

On floor 34, my forest and flowers team encountered a beautiful fox named Satori. Now, I know I used to go on anti-Yasmine tirades, but frankly, Yasmine is no longer a problem once the Grove Keepers get stronger. Satori, however, seems like a hard counter to Alvanor.

Towards the end of the battle, the harmless-looking fox did his little dance and utterly obliterated my Alvanor, Kai, and Heidi. No amount of floor retreats or Thea's healing beams could change the fact that Satori's inevitable dance completely dominates the Keepers of the Old Grove. In fact, I had many attempts where Satori obliterated my entire team at once, and I barely pressed ESC in time. I had to settle with the most advantageous floor restart, where Satori's dance left two heroes alive: Thea and Maya .

But in the remaining battles, these two often overlooked heroes gently outlasted team after team. Outnumbered and nearly overwhelmed, Thea and Maya managed to heal just in time, floor after floor, to avoid defeat. Until floor 50, when the two finally emerged to watch the sun rise over the land of Dominion.

Rest in peace, Alvanor, Kai, and Heidi. The top of the tower is not the same without the three of you. But until then, I hope this tale of grit and resilience helps you remember never to underestimate Thea and Maya! 😍 😘

I have yet to complete the tower, closest was 49, just missing the top, mainly because my best hero levels, which are 70, are much lower than my current overall level, which is 90. I've been trying to level up my heroes and pause my overall level advancement, which is not that easy to do. I'm curious about using the skulls to get buffs, do getting buffs lower rewards or not? Any suggestions on how to advance higher would be appreciated, thank you.

you know what to do then... level your hero to your team level and you will not have that problem..

just keep your main team at your team level... you should focus on 5-7 heroes only and don't upgrade or level up any more before you get to 130 or even longer...
buying buffs doesn't affect rewards in any other way than just leaving less skulls to convert into gold at end of tower - at max level it is 100k gold for all skulls saved

Hi Akiran! 😊 I agree with @wet coral and @fresh crow . Also, regardless of whether or not you've caught up your main team to your team level, don't hesitate to spend your skull coins on the stats buffs (damage increase, armor, and magic defense). The loss of potential gold exchanged for skull coins is far outweighed by the benefits of surviving more tower floors and getting the rewards from chests (gold, tower coins, and items), and tower points (over 300K gold max).

So that you can focus on selecting the stats buffs, don't worry about the energy and healing buffs. Instead, save up your ult energy at the end of each battle so you start the next floor ready to ult. Let your team's healer take care of healing as well while you are saving up energy.

Something that @fresh crow taught me as well is to hit ESC and retreat when things aren't going well on a certain floor. This lets you try again with different strategies like your choice of heroes or timing your ults differently.

Just want to double check on the skulls used for buffs, they only convert into gold at the top of the tower, because I've got a quest for getting gold in the tower, so want to make sure I'm not making that harder by using the skulls.

Anyways, I'll try again without emojis. Today, I think I found the answer to Satori in the Tower, without having to invest in a hard counter!!

Before today, Satori would consistently *annihilate * my team (Grove Keepers, Maya, and Heidi) after he does his little dance. It wouldn't matter how I time my ults or healing, I would always get decimated. I would end up having to settle with the lucky restart that left the least amount of heroes dead.

Today, by pure chance, I discovered that the key is to just remove Alvanor from my team, and take the remaining four heroes to face Satori. For some reason, whenever Alvanor is in the field, Satori's little dance drains the health of Alvanor *and * all the surrounding teammates. The health would keep draining down to zero, even after well-timed heals! Even though Satori only hard-counters Alvanor, the rest of my team was affected! But strangely, take away Alvanor and Satori's little dance doesn't hurt my four-hero team nearly as much! That, or my team actually kills Satori before he can do his dance!

A couple months ago, you guys taught me how to defeat Yasmine while still focusing on my Grove Keeper team. Now that Satori is no longer a threat (I would have never thought removing a hero was the solution), there's nothing in the way of always finishing the Tower now!

ok so the answer to ur problem is basically:
alvanor violet vs satori violet
alvanor violet = more energy gain for those underneath grove shield
satori violet = 9 fox marks for energy gain based on skills ahahahahahahahaha
satori ult = deals damage based on number of fox marks
seeing as how you probably use axel as ur team pet....... the amount of damage distributed will be more than enough to kill ur entire team

Thanks to everyone who helped me about the Satori problem these past few days! (fish, Calvinthesneak, Sayan, Mandala, Debren) While I unfortunately don't have the resources to invest in Sebastian or Isaac, it's relieving to know how the fox marks work and how to get around them, makes this fox a lot less scary. After a few more successful Tower runs, I can now safely say that Satori is no longer a problem!

Personally, I do the Tower and share screenshots in order to spread the joy. 😊 Back then, I used to have a lot of trouble finishing the Tower. Yasmine used to be a problem before my heroes got stronger. Then it was Satori, until this community taught me to just remove Alvanor from the fight. 😂 While I don't have problems reaching the top anymore, I appreciate the sunrise at the top all the more because of those early-game struggles. 🙂

i find using neb in tower is pretty good bc you can time your hero's ults with nebula's boost without having to wait for some time bc the energy carries over (being a dante advocate , im pointing towards him especially)

doesnt matter which damage dealer u play, as long as u focus, tower will become easy at some point. then its solo dps or dps+healer 2-man team all the way

We lost Heidi in the Tower today ... Satori showed up on floor 45, and while this girl now knows to remove Alvanor from any fight with this beautiful fox, Satori's ult still drained all of our beloved monke's health, even without Alvanor, no matter how many times I restarted. 😢 😭 Without the resources to level up Sebastian, I had to settle with letting Heidi die. There were no resurrections today, so we had to move on without him. Rest in peace, monke. ❤️ The top of the Tower is not the same without you!
