I’m feeling like I’ve hit my ceiling as ADC. I can 1v2 most of my lanes in Diamond, but once I hit Master… I hit this wall. If my support is insane, I pretty much insta-win my lane… but if they’re just average or bad — I can’t trade and I can’t control with lane and I get super behind. I also feel like I’m doing less damage in team fights as well.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong either, because I’m watching my replays and seeing my mistakes and fixing them (or trying to) but the results don’t change. Should I just change to support to climb solo Q, or are there any GM/Challengers willing to help analyze what I can improve on.

Thanks!

ADC is probably one of the hardest role to climb in soloq. You have the most impact in the late game, but if your team don't peel for you then there isn't much you can do in team fight. A good assassin will flank on the side and wait there for opportunity to kill you, not just panic attack on whoever appear on their screen first.

But if you really enjoy playing adc I would recommend you to continue playing that, focus on improving yourself only. ADC is relying so much on their own team to be useful ( a good support for laning phase, a good jungler to gank or even babysit your lane if you are their win condition, a good team that can peel for you and keep you alive at all cost) it's probably best to queue with a support so you only need to focus on improving your own gameplay for now. Even in master/gm you will be surprise by the amount of time the adc is the first one to die.
