If they have a dash or flash hold your q to chase them down

Use defiant dance to damage minions so you can dash on the to get stacks quickly
Honestly irelia is such a complex champ you just need to play alot of her
thorny slate
First, practice hitting low minions with your Q, and caster minions will die always once u get bortk and sheen on first cast, use them for quick gap closer
Next, practice hitting your E, vertically and horizontally, double tap works sometimes but u have to be insanely fast and double down with Q
Last, predict enemies burst and press W when so, you need to have experience of a lot of champs playstyle to be able to predict safely
And when in doubt, E Q ulti Q Q Q Q Q Q
Ur mid and early is ur strongest, don't hesitate to melt down anyone except Rammus, do hesitate on that lol
