In my opinion it's one of the best main stories in gacha at the moment, for me it really started to pick up in chapter 22 as that's when it felt like the puzzle pieces really start being put together from previous story and events, everything after chapter 24 has been a minimum of an 8/10, the writing and pacing of the story is very consistent and it doesn't hold your hand rather it expects you to recall certain key information and put together the puzzle pieces yourself. The further I got the more I wanted to know and read.
Chapters 40-44 has really fleshed out the main cast, especially Anis and Neon, a lot of the side characters got story progression as well, the lore of the world was also expanded upon in a meaningful way.
The best part of the Nikke story is that the stakes are high and no character is 100% safe
