A theory I read says that because the extractor works with possibilities of past present and future, it's possible the EGO we got came from a possible world where Kim becomes an Abnormality because nobody saves him

Remember than EGOs have A LOT of ways to be made

• Efflorescenced and Volatile EGO which people awaken to
• EGO gear which is extracted from abnormalities
• EGO gifts which are gifted by abnormalities
• EGO which Dante personally extracted (like the Arknights ones)
• EGOs gotten from the dispenser (equpibable and single use, the ones we use in gameplay essentially)
