So they did the absolute worst they could think to her, leading her to hate them so much that she would give up her own self just to get her revenge

Like locking her in the time vault until her mind becomes entangle and fractures

In the flavour text "they" (her NFs I think) say they are surprised her mind is still somewhat sane after being entangled

Also, I ended up being right
The entanglement isn't a special power of her bloodline, but just a consequence of being in the time vault with her special blood for too long

For whether Shiomi was entangled, we don't know for certain, but if I had to guess I would say no, here's why

Both Ryoshu and Araya ended up with a similar style because of the entanglement side effects of randomly spacing out, but Shiomi wasn't using that style, which makes me believe she never had a reason to pick it up

In fact, Ryoshu even said Shiomi seemingly hated Iaido, seeing no purpose in resheathing the sword once unsheathed

And it also turns out the Dihui Blade's effects were about the shearing, not the entanglement
