Hello everybody I have a 13' Mid 2012 2,5 ghz Intel core i5 dual-core with 16 gb of ram. Went from Catalina to ventura using OpenCore patcher 0.6.7. everywhting worked PERFECTLY. Then unfortunately I installed OpenCore patcher 0.6.7. on my boss' computer. He mistakenly updated stuff he shouldn't have and his keyboard and touchpad stopped working. Had to rebuild a OpenCore key from my mac but with the aim of making it for Monterey. At that point I must have screwed up because now my ventura works BUT my touchpad doesn't. The Boss's computer works well btw :(. I tried a post-install root patch on my computer but it doesn't help. Is there anything else I can do? Last ditch scenario for me is to create a bootable Catalina USB Key, delete my hard drive, install Catalina natevely, import my backup and then start again with the open core patcher to get from Catalina to Ventura. Thanks to anybody who might be able to help me.

Then unfortunately I installed OpenCore patcher 0.6.7.

Why tho?

If the Trackpad doesn't work, you should go back to Catalina... restore your Time Machine Backup... (of course you did one before updating, otherwise you're dumb XD)

Hello Apple Guy, thanks for your comment. As I mentioned in my post the touchpad DID work when I did the OpenCore patch to Ventura "everyhting worked PERFECTLY". The touchpad stopped working when I created the Bootable USB key for the other computer. and of course I did backup my computer while it was running Catalina, but I'd like to keep that as a last resort if there are no other way to fix this.
